Proficient in designing Substations up to 400 kV class voltage level along with networking control & data accusation systems (SCADA) on side lines of IEC 61850 protocol. Should be a keen strategist & implementer, managing the substation engineering & project management while ensuring delivery of projects within the time and cost parameters. Should adapt quality management / value added engineering of various substation equipment / schemes improving overall project savings. Should be excellent communication & interpersonal skills with strong analytical, team building, problem solving and organizational abilities. Your responsibilities

• Functionally supporting the PGHV team to quote tenders and develop inhouse solution meeting customer requirements for EHV Brownfield AIS/GIS/PASS projects.
• Understanding of High voltage switchgear products.
• Preparation of sub-station BOM from system level requirements and translating them to well-written and specific sub-system and components level requirements based on which the sub-station will be planned and executed.
• Interfacing, documenting and capturing the internal and customer system requirements during the tender stage design through Pre bid and Post bid documents.
• To interface with cross functional teams like front end Sales, Marketing, SCM, Project Management
• Support on verification and validation of Vendor GTP, Datasheet, Schematics, GA drawings.
• To perform risk assessment for proposed design solutions and retrofit design
• Ability to select technology, devices, equipment and/or components to meet customer requirements.
• Preparation of SLD, EKD, CCD, DSLP drawings, engineering calculation for earthing, lightning, illumination etc.,
• Release of BOM and other engineering deliverables as per project timelines
• Ability to select correct grounding systems for the sub-station.
• Ensure verification of the materials through FAT, Vendor inspection.
• Adaptability with regard to new digital technology and features.

• A self-starter, able to make evidence-based decisions, and display a strong "can-do" attitude to match the challenges with equal enthusiasm.
• Knowledge of Person should be well versed with primary as well as secondary engineering function.
• Candidate should be proficient in substation engineering with adequate knowledge in 220kv / 132kv /66kv voltage level AIS, GIS, Hybrid substations.
• Knowledge on relay settings is an added advantage.
• Should be well versed with protection, communication schemes and numerical relays.
• Should be familiar with Cable schedule preparation, Battery sizing, Selection of HV Equipment, Transformers, Station Auxiliaries.
• Candidate must be familiar with FAT for various HV and LV switchgears, Control and Relay Panels, Transformers.
