Roles and Responsibilities Needs Assessment & Content Development
Translate the clients business requirements into training needs and subsequently into the training systems design and articulate it to the team with the help of suitable model.
Project manages each training course as an event, from set up through to evaluation, ensuring and/or performing administrative activities related to training program delivery.
Offer creative alternatives for the fulfilling the training needs
Manages day-to-day vendor relationships and performing related activities including sending data files, discussing issues, relaying requests etc.
Work closely with business to create and align sustainable, integrated solution.
Deploy instructional approaches to reinforce performance-oriented learning by including blended learning solutions, simulations and experiential learning in curriculum.
Promotes and markets learning and training initiatives within the local market communicates availability and value of existing courseware to promote utilization and expand opportunities.
Responsible to design and deliver management courses and facilitates dialogue and consults with leaders to provide insight as to L&D solutions to address prominent performance or capability gaps
Planning
Create, leverage and implement plans for either the development of new or the updating of existing learning. Drive high-level planning exercise.
Manage time, expectations, and resources, both internal and external.
Manage and track plans of training delivery or content development
Anticipate issues and risks at the module level and escalate appropriately
Identify and authorize trainers based on training requirements.
Training Delivery
Deliver training necessary to bridge skills gaps in aligned line of business
Provide on- going support to business in reinforcing training in its day-to day applications
Partner with leadership to ensure the effective delivery and sponsorship of learning and development efforts
Publish training reports to business
Set standards for the team (training process, training communication, training data etc.)
Establish new processes need based.
Understand, define and assess completeness of work
Content Evaluation
Recommend program improvement strategy based on analysis of feedback/evaluation data
Ensure training and performance improvement programs are effective and utilize solutions to mitigate constrained capacity effectively & efficiently.
Desired Candidate Profile
Prior experience of working in an L&D environment
Experience in partnering & collaborating with business and leadership, in identification of skill gaps and development of training solutions.
Knowledge and understanding of end to end training cycle
Knowledge/understanding of Instructional Design would be an added advantage
Ability to create/develop program content based on requirements
Knowledge of evaluations of training programs and learning effectiveness
Proficiency in written/verbal communication skills
Possess passion and drive towards delivery of training programs
Skills to interface/liaise effectively with internal customers towards needs' identification and conceptualize, develop relevant program content
Strong interpersonal skills and customer service orientation
A strong sense of commitment, meeting timelines and passion towards people capability development
Must possess requisite set of skills needed to effectively conduct people development programs through an interactive learning methodology
