The role?
EnerMech are looking to recruit an Engineering Manager for our India based operations to oversee the growth of the engineering capabilities within the country. The EnerMech High Value Engineering Centre currently supports mechanical and piping workloads for the Cranes & Lifting Services and Semi-conductor industries respectively, therefore experience within these disciplines would be beneficial, but not a necessity. This position will be the single point of contact within country for the engineering delivery and shall have responsibility for the management of the existing engineering team along with any future growth for work in the pipeline. The position will also be proactively engaging with regional EnerMech stakeholders with a view to the further development of engineering HVEC office capabilities.
Some of the key requirements are:
- Strategic resource planning through interface with regional management teams
- Developing HVEC work entry procedures for the planning, initiation and execution of work.
- Development of HVEC working procedures to support engineering, design quality and integrity
- Ensuring design work is delivered safely, timely
Experienced in working remotely with other geographical centres of excellence or high value engineering centres. You will be degree qualified and preferably with or working towards your chartered status. Experience of managing a multidiscipline engineering team will be useful. Handled a large team of engineers (minimum 50+)
