About this role:

As part of Wells Fargo's strategic International Branch platform (IBP) implementation, Oracle FLEXCUBE UBS (FCUBS), Oracle Banking Payments (OBPM) and Oracle Banking Liquidity Management (OBLM) are customized for WF and rolled-out into multiple branches.

WF is seeking a Software Engineering Manager for management along with being hands-on in technology; primarily responsible to lead Agile delivery teams for successful branch roll-out and product customization.

It is essential to have experience in implementation of any industry-top Core Banking application or Payment Processors and in driving automation strategies. . Experience of working with global stakeholders and distributed teams.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

Program & Delivery:

• Accountable for the overall delivery for the product / application - ensuring quality of code and adherence to committed timelines.
• Interpret Epics & User Stories and design/review technical and quality specifications.
• Provide technical/coding direction and guidance on complex logics, being hands-on with technical design & development.
• Define and track team tasks, quality metrics and effective defect management. Be in control of scope, changes & deliverables.
• Design & drive automation strategies. Understand the product / application and contribute to roadmap / strategy
• Exhibit sense of urgency in handing Production/Critical defects and in ensuring Production stability.
• Coordinate implementation activities across a broad range of functions and departments. Efficient stakeholder management with technology, partner teams, shared services and support organizations. Gain user acceptance for deliverables
• Conduct trainings and user sessions for Partner, Business and Support organizations.
• Well aware of information security, data protection, banking standards and global working culture

People & Organization:

• Accountable for expectation/goal setting for the team members in line with organization's goals
• Responsible for creating opportunities for team members (including managers) growth. Plan and manage skill portfolio of staff in view of future needs
• Meet talent needs of the group including full time and contingent staffs for technology delivery
• Retain talent, build and sustain high performance work culture
• Guide and mentor team members to stay focused on organization's goals and their career path
• Be a trusted strategic partner for Wells Fargo Technology teams
• Undertake management of cross-departmental projects, collaborating with other groups to achieve global and location specific objectives
• Facilitate ideas and projects in accordance with agreed priorities
• Manages strategic relationships with local vendors for running the business

Required Qualifications, International:

• Experience in implementing Core Banking Applications and/or Payment Products
• Experience in handling Agile projects/teams.
• Agile way of project planning, tracking and estimation techniques
• Product knowledge: Hands-on experience in banking modules - Banking Base, International Payments, Term Deposit, Foreign Exchange and Money Markets

Technical:

• Core Java, J2EE, Oracle PL/SQL
• Unix, Microservices, Web Services, Weblogic , JMS, MQ
• DevOps (CI/CD) and Automation of Build & Deployment
• Agile - Scrum/Kanban, Scaled Agile

Desired Qualifications:

• Techno-functional knowledge in core banking, international payments and liquidity management.
• Implementation experience on Oracle FLEXCUBE (v12.x or higher) and/or Oracle Banking Payments (OBPM)
• Familiar with infrastructure planning and related tools
• Automated Testing approach for Unit Testing & Integrated Testing using Cucmber, Selenium, Junit, JMeter etc
• Experience in Cloud enablement / Cloud based application and Microservices based product/application
