The position is newly established and reports directly to the Director of the Nordic Technology Hub. The purpose of this position is to provide technical knowledge, and direction as listed below. The Engineering Manager has oversight of a specific area and acts as a representative of the department ensuring technical accuracy in project execution in all phases. This role has the responsibility to promote Fluor\'s competitiveness within the global marketplace by delivering quality services of unmatched value and technical competence. This role leads the engineering effort on assigned projects and is responsible for coordinating the individual Engineering Discipline Leads. . Direct and manage the interface between Engineering and the other disciplines on the project including Process Engineering, Project Controls, Project Management, Procurement and Contracts, Construction, and the client team . Act as a leader in applying Cost Competitive Execution techniques and develop the most cost- effective total project solution . Work with Discipline Leads and Engineering Department Managers to ensure that staffing levels are appropriate to achieve the engineering schedule commitments and personnel are assigned with appropriate ability Basic Job Requirements . You hold a Bachelor or Master\'s degree within engineering or another relevant field . You have approximately 10 years of experience as Engineering/Project Manager and/or Project Lead . You have advanced knowledge of discipline codes and standards, commercial availability and cost of materials . You have worked with EPCM projects in the Life Science industry . You are fluent in both Danish and English languages as we work with both local and international clients . You possess good listening skills and able to put yourself in the shoes of our clients, vendors, and other collaboration partners to understand their needs . You are a strong communicator which enables you to get your messages across effectively . Finally, you enjoy working in an international environment with colleagues from around the world Preferred Qualifications . Professional registration and active participation in technical society . Advanced knowledge of discipline codes and standards, commercial availability and cost of materials . Advanced knowledge of equipment through all stages of a project from conceptual phase to design development, construction, and commissioning . Effort-hour estimating and staff forecasting . Managing and leading a large project . Project set-up, developing control-level schedules, progress reporting and project close-out . Practical field experience . Intermediate computer and software skills to include the use of word processing, e-mail, spreadsheet and electronic presentation programs
