We have crossed our pre-covid numbers. We want to become the world\xe2\x80\x99s biggest B2B travel company by enabling over a million travel agents, travel entrepreneurs, and influencers to grow their businesses, and achieve Annualized GMV of $25 billion by 2026
Profile Overview: Engineering Manager at TravClan is a key role that revolves around managing one of our travel vertical systems end to end. You will be working in close liaison with almost every internal team providing help with Flights Booking Engine, Hotels Booking Engine, Integrations with OTAs like Expedia, Agoda, HotelBeds, Integrations with Airlines Booking Engines, and GDS platforms like Amadeus, Leads Management System, Booking Management System, Payment Gateway, etc. You will be working with product owners to understand what the business needs in terms of technology.

What we are looking for:

Roles & Responsibilities:

• 
  Should have experience of coordinating with multiple team consisting of backend developers, front end developer and app developer
• 
  You will be leading a talented team of backend and frontend(Web, Android/IOS) developers
• 
  The engineering manager should be a hands on developer. Should spent 30-40% of her/his time writing codes and reviewing codes of fellow developers
• 
  You will be Architecting and designing a highly scalable and robust system

Desired Candidate Profile

• 
  Candidates should have 8+ years of experience in software development, out of which 2+ years of experience as an engineering manager.
• 
  Ethical, hardworking, and \'passionate about startups\' mindset
• 
  Prior Startup experience preferred
• 
  Good understanding of different tech stacks.
• 
  Willing to learn more

Must have technical skills

• 
  Language: Python/Django, Javascript/NodeJs, Java/Springboot
• 
  Tech Stack: SQL/Mysql, Search Engine/Elasticsearch/Solr, Queue/RabbitMQ, cache/Memcache/redis/, Nosql/MongoDB
• 
  Dev ops: Linux/Debian, Docker/Kubernetes
• 
  Process/tools: Agile/SCRUM, JIRA
• 
  Infra: AWS/GCP/Azure
