Job Description

What You'll do:

• Build and lead a team of engineers to create robust, scalable and high quality solutions
  
• Collaborate with product and technology teams to solve complex problems
• Communicate design and test impact based on business requirements
  
• Understand business requirements, formulate use cases and come up with effective solutions
• Research and evaluate technologies and solutions to determine solution design options and trade offs
• Able to lead the development cycle and ensure delivery of highly secure solutions that are optimized for performance and built to scale
• Able to engineer complex features/ systems from scratch and drive it to completion
• Apply best-practices and coding patterns that ensure solutions are maintainable, modular, and of high code-quality

What makes you a great fit:

• 9-15 years of experience with a consumer internet/ e-commerce organization
• Deep understanding and prior hands-on experience of back-end technologies like Java & SQL
• Should be well versed with emerging design and architectural trends
• Expertise in effective planning and prioritization of projects to create an environment where randomization is either absent or extremely minimized
• Should have experience in leading and managing performance of a team of 5+ engineers
• Able to break complex projects into modules and propose effective solutions in view of capabilities of existing platforms and infrastructure
• Should have prior experience in microservices and event driven architecture
• Experience with high performance & high scale applications
  
• Good knowledge of multiple data storage systems
