CONTEXT OF THE SERVICE / PROJECT : In the OBS group, the engineering service provides expertise and support for the hosting platforms and internal business customers. SERVICE DESCRIPTION : 1) Provide Level 3 support for production datacenter teams covering major Backup product and all roles and features 2) Validate and document standard procedures for deploying and operating related to Backup solution. 3) Validate and document new OS versions and Roles/features as well as new server hardware for integration into the OCB Catalog. 4) Define the Disaster Recovery process, document it in coordination with other streams 5) Provide documentation on the architecture (admin guide, customer oriented documentation, support to process documentation) 6) Assist infrastructure teams (Storage, network, backup, monitoring) in the validation of their respective datacenter infrastructure products with OCB standard Operating systems and servers. 7) Train Datacenter Operations teams on new products and features 8) Manage the SME role for Backup and other emerging technolgies for Private Cloud. 9) Act as a next level support for existing Backup Consultant resources. DELIVERABLES : Disaster Recovery document Fail-over documentation from one physical site to another, with delays and processes Final architecture document (TAD and FAD) Install document Configuration document Technical specifications Functional Specifications creation Acceptance tests Training documents Operational / User guides Weekly minutes
About you
Knowledge & SkillSet Planning & Designing Hyperconverged Solution for customers. Creating Low Level Diagram (LLD) with detailed solution information. Handson experience of designing and Implementing Backup solution ( Netbackup, NEtworker, VEEAM,Commvault and other backup tool) and handover to run team. Studying new features and performing validation in lab. Helping operation teams for any escalated issues and modification in existing solutions. Performing Proof of Concept/Release Management for new features related to Backup Technology
