Job Profile: Specialist – Pre-sales, Work Force Strategies, North America Location: Mumbai Business Unit: Marsh Office Name: Marsh McLennan Global Services India Private Limited (MMGS) MMGS Function: Knowledge Services As a part of the Marsh Advisory team in Knowledge Services function of MMGS, the colleague would support our Work Force Strategies (WFS) stakeholders by enabling their go to market with Marsh’s value proposition. WFS practice at Marsh aims to reduce client’s losses and keep their work force safe:

  • Fleet Solutions Group: fleet and automobile safety and loss prevention
  • Ergonomics Group: prevent ergonomic losses for our clients
  • Health and Safety Group: prevent losses at workplace
MMGS is a global knowledge center for Marsh McLennan and houses teams, which work closely with the colleagues across various operating units and locations. This position is out of our Mumbai, India office of MMGS. What can you expect?
  • Collate and curate Marsh’s value proposition in the WFS practice
  • Help with go to market of WFS practice
  • Collate information from various sources to further harvest for the purpose of business development
  • Identify and build a library of best in class presentations / reports / case studies to be used by WFS client executives

We will count on you to:
  • Help build the WFS value proposition by consistently exploring the current and future solutions
  • Support in analyzing potential markets, craft sales pitches, qualifying prospects and strategic planning
  • Help support the sales team on research related requirements that may be needed from time to time
  • Work closely with WFS leaders to identify ways of increasing client engagement and revenue conversion
  • Competitor benchmarking and updating the WFS practice on new solutions, products, services etc., being offered by the competitors
  • Create a knowledge repository of success stories and circulate it widely to increase the adoption rate
  • Create various Savings Wedges for safety services
  • Get together data from multi sources and generate actionable insights for the clients / business
  • Conduct extensive research to enhance the output and improve the value proposition of the current solution
  • Leverage a solid understanding of business trends, issues, and concepts, to respond efficiently to complex research questions by delivering synthesized, actionable facts and insights to our client execs
  • Create content for marketing collaterals to support the WFS practice.
  • Assist in enhance reports and presentations with advanced content and graphics.
  • Develops strong relationships with client execs and keep seeking regular feedbacks
  • Automate process to report utilization, revenue and new business information and creating reports for each zone/practice in a consistent format for weekly/monthly/quarterly reporting
  • Dash boarding for WFS and for clients
  • Assist with Safety Platform configuration support
  • Create reports for our more consistent work whereby the consultant sends all specific report information and research required to produce the output report
What you need to have:
  • Masters / Bachelors in Economics, Business Administration or Environmental Health & Safety / equivalent post-graduation certification in Business Administration from a reputed institute
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience in pre-sales and developing marketing content at a consulting firm
  • Experience in consulting projects and conducting independent secondary research
  • Solid functional knowledge, including but not limited to risk, strategy and project management
  • Good understanding of economic, financial, and general business concepts and terminology
  • Extensive experience on working with Strategic Frameworks
  • Strong ability to weave a story using multiple data points
  • Ability to work with internal and external - including paid and publicly available data sources
  • Familiarity and experience of working on databases like CapIQ, Factiva, S&P etc.
  • Excellent analytical, quantitative and problem solving skills
  • Project management and multi-tasking skills
  • Experience in Content and Knowledge Management
  • Exposure in diverse global stakeholder management
  • Excellent English communication skills – verbal, writing, listening
  • Advanced level of proficiency in MS Office, with strong skills in PowerPoint, Word, Excel (VBA Macros is a good to have) and SharePoint
