Working with a number of high-profile customers globally, our growing business is excited to be expanding our team in Noida.

Role Overview As a key senior manager of the engineering team, you will be leading a team of Engineering Managers and Engineers, all located in Noida, India in charge of developing and delivering to customers SIM, eSIM and iSIM profile packages and associated applications (Java Card\xe2\x84\xa2 applets). You will focus on making customers happy by providing high quality deliverables in a timely manner while keeping all team members engaged and dedicated. You will lead the interactions between your team members, the Project Managers, the sales and other engineering teams.

What you will be doing:

  • Coach, motivate and push each team member to deliver their objective according to agreed KPI/benchmark.
  • Foster teamwork, high quality communication and professionalism .
  • Act as an escalation point for the Noida PS team and take ownership and accountability of all the PS team activities and projects.
  • Identify area of improvement within the team and recommend training needs.
  • Conduct monthly / bimonthly meeting with the team on group targets and strategy for enhancing overall performance.
  • Monitor & control team KPI for First Time Right (FTR) & On Time Delivery (OTD)
  • Communicate team status, task accomplishment and performance.
  • Share team members strengths, weaknesses, and motivations ; organize PS team members career
  • Participate to salary reviews, job promotion and perform the annual performance reviews along with the Engineering Managers
  • Provide suggestions and area of improvements on tools, training, methodology and processes to Production Excellence.
  • Review and monitor team leaves, attendance, training participation and overtime activities along with Noida Human Resources
  • Escalate issues which cannot be resolved by the
  • Forecast & Anticipate potential issues, workload balancing
  • Act as main interface to the Field Application Engineers and Project Managers for project engagement:
    • Support the project manager in the allocation of resources on projects, the definition of project plans and monitor project
    • Support Customer requests
  • Be accountable for providing reliable delivery commitments to its stakeholders with focus on both quality and speed
  • Ensure development capacity is adequate by anticipating load or drop of activity and maximising capacity on operational, process and structural tasks
  • Support the Production Excellence team in enhancing development and security processes and executing best practices; including the definition of metrics and measurable quality check gates
  • Enforce the PS team processes and workflows to operate under the required security and frameworks and following the quality guidelines
  • Provide technical inputs to other engineering teams to help define the quarterly objectives and build the long-term product roadmap
  • Lead the team to develop and maintain people motivation and minimize employee turnover
  • Recruit new team members as may be required Support your reports (PS team managers) in conducting any disciplinary and performance improvement activities as needed
Employees will be required to ensure any Kigen security obligations are adhered to at all times. This will require an undertaking to commit to training and awareness programs and adherence to relevant regulation and procedures including Kigen Security Management Policies and Procedures, Kigen confidentiality agreements and other requirements of outside agencies.

What do we need:
  • Minimum 3 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience as manager or team/technical leader
  • Minimum 10 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in Telecom or Smart Card industry
  • Manage well under pressure, focus on the outcome and company\xe2\x80\x99s interests using Radical Candor approach ( reference )
  • G ood communication skills with an ability to adapt communication style dependent upon the audience

  • Strong sense of accountability and responsibility: act as single stakeholder for the entire Professional Services team. Protect team from unnecessary pressure while ensuring employees are accountable and commitments are met.

  • Consolidate reports and feedback to facilitate managers\xe2\x80\x99 ability to evaluate individual (downward) and projects/regions (upward)
