Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Engineering Manager with a proven track record of building scalable software products in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. In this role, you will lead a team of engineers (developers, DevOps, QA) to develop highly sophisticated features, collaborate to make challenging decisions, prioritize the right things, creatively solve problems, and ensure we are shipping exceptionally high-quality products. You will work directly with founders and cross-functionally with product managers to define, build, and launch mission-critical initiatives.

What you'll do

• Drive engineering execution by defining roadmaps, creating feature specifications, and working cross-functionally to ship quality code at a high cadence.
• Lead the architecture and development of the Taffi platform including the web apps, backend, APIs, and cloud infrastructure.
• Set up efficient and scalable engineering processes.
• Manage, develop and grow a team of globally distributed engineers, DevOps, and QA.

Skills & experience we're excited about

• Strong problem-solving skills
• 7+ years of demonstrated history of systems architecture design and end-to-end deployment.
• 2+ years of proven track record of completing a multi-quarter software project while managing a technical team of at least 5 engineers.
• Proven track of building high performant engineering teams for fast-paced environments.
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
• Analytical and data-driven to separate signal from the noise.
