Master Data Analyst

This position will support operations by monitoring and analyzing master data, key data, and master relationship data within the organization.

• Ensures master data integrity in key systems as well as maintaining the processes to support the data quality.
• Identifies areas for data quality improvements and helps to resolve data quality problems through the appropriate choice of error detection and correction, revisions, process control and improvement, or process design strategies & documentation of process.
• Assists in data management, governance, and data quality of master data requirements with other functional data owners to ensure functional master data integrity across the operation is consistent and meets stated business rules and requirements.
• Work closely with the business/IT to ensure alignment of master data rules and the operations of the application meet all requirements.
• Using automated tools to extract data from primary and secondary sources
• Recommend & Execute Robotic Process Automation (RPA) of repetitive activity
• Removing corrupted data and fixing coding errors and related problems
• Developing and maintaining databases , data systems – reorganizing data in a readable format
• Performing analysis to assess quality and meaning of data
• Assigning numerical value to essential business functions so that business performance can be assessed and compared over periods of time.
• Preparing final analysis reports for the stakeholders to understand the data-analysis steps, enabling them to take important decisions based on various facts and trends.
  

Key skills for Master data Analyst

• Technical proficiency regarding database design development, data models, techniques for data mining , and segmentation.
• Experience in handling reporting packages like Business Objects, programming ( Javascript , XML , or ETL frameworks), databases- added advantage
• Excellent Microsoft computer skills, access,Macro in Excel,VBA, IT Tools etc
• Problem-solving skills
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Adept at queries, writing reports, and making presentations
• Team-working skills
• Verbal and Written communication skills
• Proven working experience in data analysis

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Bachelor's degree in information science, data management, computer science or related field preferred.
• Experience in data analysis or computer programming.
• Excellent Microsoft computer skills, access,Macro in Excel,VBA, IT Tools etc
