General Accounting Master Data Analyst

You will be working as General Accounting Master Data Analyst will be reporting to Accounting & Reporting Manager and will be a part of GBS located in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be primarily responsible for Support overall financial statement preparation by executing accurate and timely completion of accounting activities in compliance with internal guidelines and procedures and external regulatory requirements.

Your responsibilities

• Performing general accounting master data activities Like, COA, profit center and cost centers
• Validating the respective request and create and do changes in respective GL account, profit center, cost centers
• Performing month end book closing activities and also familiar with tool like MDG, blackline, trintech etc.
• Co-ordinating and handling the audit queries and SOX compliance

Your background

• Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting, finance or commerce
• Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience in general accounting
• Should have knowledge on master data maintenance, reporting, reconciliation and processing of journal entries
• Must have experience in Record to Report (R2R)
• Should possess good communication skills
