Role: QA Tester
 
Exp: 2 to 4 Years
 
Roles & Responsibilities
 
As a AR/VR QA tester, you'll be helping to make sure we deliver a quality product.
 
Responsibilities:
 
Find and log defects, weak spots and bugs with clear and concise description.
Perform testing from scripted test cases.
Write test plans and test cases against requirements and prototypes.
Review product documentation for accuracy, clarity, consistency, completeness, and compliance.
Ensure the quality of software.
Interface with development team on an 'as needed' basis.
Support the launch of new products and software versions.
Make recommendations to improve product reliability and performance.
 
Requirements:
 
Experience working in Unity.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
Attention to detail and strong documentation skills.
The ability to respond quickly to sights and sounds without developing motion sickness.
The ability to use a Virtual Reality headset and hand controllers.
Experience working in a Windows environment.
Experience working with Excel Spreadsheets.
 
Desired:
 
Deep passion or knowledge of VR, MxR, gaming industries.
Previous experience - and/or strong desire to be working - with VR and AR platforms.
2+ years of professional QA experience in the gaming industry.
Ability to solve problems and think creatively "outside-the-box".
Experience with Unity based engines is a plus.
Develop test suites, frameworks and tools to validate software features.
Understand user behavior and develop test infrastructure that factor environmental and manufacturing tolerances.
Collaborate with Engineers through the entire software development lifecycle to solve complex engineering problems in tools and testing.
