You will be working as R&D Project Manager and will be part of Electrification business area for Distribution Solutions division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to R&D Team Lead and will be responsible for developing or creating products, systems, services or technologies for ABB\'s Business Units by leading and managing the execution of one or more R&D projects to meet project targets. Your responsibilities Motivating and leading internal and external resources to accomplish all tasks and milestones Managing the project team allocated to the project and defining with key stakeholders the scope of work, cost or budget resources required time schedule and detailed work allocation Ensuring project follows sound methodology and executing practices in accordance with standard ABB internal directives and procedures Identifying, containing and reducing risk. Ensuring appropriate handling of change requests Using own technical domain knowledge to provide technical support to colleagues or other functional teams Effectively communicating appropriate information to stakeholders in a timely manner and to achieve desired understanding and support Your background Bachelor\'s or master\'s degree in electronics and communication / electronics and instrumentation Minimum 6 - 10 years of relevant project management experience Working experience in software and hardware product development of power system domain Working experience in multiple and complex projects Good experience in defining project metrics and measures PMP or equivalent project management certification More about us ABB\'s Distribution Solutions Division provides utility, industrial and commercial customers with safe, smart and sustainable technologies for the distribution of electricity.
