Job Overview
Candidate will be driving the Improvement activities and new developments at Molding suppliers.
- Molding process improvement
- New Developments
- Provides responsive support to the molding suppliers to ensure the safe manufacture of quality products to meet on time delivery schedule.
- Provides molding input in order to improve molding part quality for existing and new injection-molded products.
- Identifies root cause and implements corrective and preventive measures to improve or ensure product quality across product lines.
- Identifies and leads projects to implement cost reduction strategies such as line flow improvements, process improvements, or part cost down activities.
- Ensures that molding concerns at supplier end are reviewed and resolution provided.
- BE/ B. Tech (Electrical, Mechanical)
- Six Sigma Knowledge (preferred)
- VDA 6.3 certified (Preferred)
- 6+ years of experience with a minimum of 4 in automotive component manufacturing Industry
- Knowledge and technical understanding of automotive processes, components, and manufacturing techniques.
