Job Role

The Business Development (BD) unit, which sits within the Commercial, Corporate and Institutional Banking (CCIB) division, is looking to hire a UAT Analyst to join an exciting program that has been set up to deliver the long-term Customer relationship management (CRM) solution.

The program looks to transform our sales and marketing approach, to unlock new revenue opportunities and to support our top-line growth ambition.

The UAT Analyst will support CRMx Projects and will be responsible for delivering the core CRM capabilities (across marketing, sales, and servicing) and its ecosystem. The target CRM solution will be a core frontline platform that will have over 8000 users and will be a central tool used by the Client coverage and product sales teams in a range of CRM processes for example Account Planning, Contact Management, Call Reports, Deal Management [including Sustainable finance products] and Client Analytics.

The platform supports stakeholders across CCIB segments, with product groups Lending, Transaction Banking and Financial Markets [including GCM, FSS].

Strategy

The purpose of the UAT analyst role is to ensure that the system has been thoroughly tested in a \xe2\x80\x98like live\xe2\x80\x99 environment and meets the end user expectations of the system functionality. The testing conducted by the UAT analyst uncovers any potential issue before the system goes live and generally gives confidence to the end users that the system will work fine when it goes live after the UAT.

Business

  • Review the Product Backlog Items (PBIs, JIRA Requirements) in scope for upcoming releases and coordinate with the BA team to clarify any query or doubt related to the PBIs or release scope.
  • Design test scenarios, create test cases and test scripts \xe2\x80\x93 positive as well as negative - to support the different scenarios.
  • Ensure full test coverage of the PBIs and JIRA Requirements assigned to the analyst with very effective traceability Matrix.
  • Agree on the individual test script execution milestones with the UAT Lead.
Processes
  • Ensure environment readiness before start of test script execution. Coordinate with relevant teams to resolve any environment issue well ahead of execution .
  • Execute test scripts as per test plan and update JIRA with test results and evidence.
  • Provide regular updates on test execution progress to UAT Lead.
  • Participate in UAT and defect triage meetings.
  • Highlight issues and defects identified during test execution to UAT Lead and other stakeholders.
  • Discuss defect priority in relevant defect calls and coordinate with BA, Development, Project Manager to ensure appropriate resolution.
People and Talent
  • Excellent Team Player who will bond well with the team members. Fair communication skills. Proactively share acquired skills and Knowledge transfers, who is very approachable to the team members.
  • Be the advocate for the end users of the system. Provide SPOC (Single Point of Contact) Support for end user UAT executions.
  • Keep up to date with the latest policies and procedures in Client Due Diligence.
  • Be proactive and manage all deliverables within agreed timeframe.
  • Highlight UAT risks and issues to UAT Lead.
  • Maintain good relationship with all stakeholders.
Risk Management
  • Ensure risks to project milestones are highlighted at appropriate forums. Monitor all major risk issues and concentrations. Where appropriate, direct remedial action and/or ensure adequate reporting to Risk Committees.
Governance
  • Adhere to all internal and external regulations.
  • Promote an environment where compliance with internal control functions and the external regulatory framework is a central priority of the business.

Key Stakeholders
  • CRMx Project Stakeholders, CRMx Programme Management, CRMx Change teams, CRMx Business Analysis team, Squads, PO, Project leads, Scrum leads and CRMx Head ITO teams (SIT, Business Analysts), GBO Management, Global Segment Heads, RMs / CMs and other CRMx dependant processes
Our Ideal Candidate
  • 1 - 4 years of experience in the Financial Services industry.
  • 1 - 4 years of experience as UAT Analyst in CRMx Process.
  • Knowledge of the CRMx systems, policies and processes. Exposure to nuances and variances CRMx requirements, MSDynamics and should have worked in CRMx Squads.
  • Experience of working in an Agile environment, awareness of Agile processes.
  • Prior experience of working on HP ALM/QC, JIRA, Confluence desirable.
  • A focused individual who is an excellent communicator with good team skills, who has the ability to influence others by showing initiative and creativity.
  • Problem Solving Skills - ability to think \xe2\x80\x98Out of the Box\xe2\x80\x99 and independently work around issues that arise from time to time.
  • Fluent English written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proactive approach, with the ability to multi-task.
Must Have
  • Working experience on CRMx Project covering test design, Test Case Executions and CRMx application and its downstream system. Working experience in SCI and Entity Maintenance.
  • Hands-on individual contributor with an eye for detail and a proactive, self managed working style.
  • Ability to take initiative, identify opportunities and work with minimal management oversight to drive the best outcome possible.
  • Excellent written, communication and presentation skills; able to effectively engage, influence and manage senior business stakeholders.
  • Hand-on experience working on JIRA.
Preferred
  • Testing skills with experience on Test Case Design and executions
