Job description Open positions:0 1 Role Title:UK UAT Payroll Manager Global Career Band:0 6 Location: Hyderabad Why join us This role will sit in a Global Payroll vertical within HR Operations. Agents will ensure the payroll testing has been processed correctly within the agreed time lines, design test scripts, run the payroll, closely work with upstream and downstream to ensure payroll system changes meets operational requirement and compliance. The Opportunity: Managing system User Acceptance Testing in all ECPY countries, raising change request, designing test script, escalating issues, communicating the changes and potential impact with operational teams...etc. What you\'ll do: Organize and prioritize UAT requirements in line with Global scheduling. Build/maintain positive working relationships with IT, Global & Local Payroll Teams. Agree and provide clearly documented testing evidence to allow timely approval of testing. Manage expectations for all impacted parties through to delivery. Communicate effectively with all internal parties and external vendors regarding changes that impact payroll interfaces (eg EC, WTS, AON, Communisis and Deloitte) Establish a reputation as a trusted advisor for all payroll system changes. Work closely with both Global and Local Payroll Teams to manage change consistently and effectively. Manage effective communication across all locations. Ensure regulatory compliance and bank policies are adhered to. Identify and manage risk effectively. Comprehensive records kept for all developments. Ensure all changes have the appropriate sign off(s) at each step of the end to end process before implementation into production. Requirements What you will need to succeed in the role: Minimum 4yrs of experience in Payroll Operations ( Essential ) withUAT Testing expertise Technical experience with SAP payroll system (ECPY). Graduate in any field Good analytical skills and decision making Self-driven & showcase good leadership traits Motivator and creativity skills Handle pressure without down-stream affects Mentor and coaching skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Must be customer focused and have the ability to thrive in a team environment seeking feedback and open to development Ability to work in a high-volume, fast paced environment is required Proficiency with personal computers and basic knowledge in Microsoft Applications ( Excel, Word etc) What additional skills will be good to have Good knowledge of Success factors - Employee Central Payroll, good knowledge of HSBC HR policies and benefit schemes.
