You will be working as Lead Business Line Manager and will be part of Process Automation business area for Process Industries division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to Business Line Manager - Metals. You will be responsible for profitable business growth, overseeing business operations including commercial (sales and marketing), operations and portfolio (products) and in many cases oversight of research and development activities. Your responsibilities Implementing the business strategy and ensuring business development in the operating unit, with full responsibility for profit and loss (P&L). Ensuring profitable business growth through development of performance targets, ensuring achievement through regular oversight and definition of improvement actions as needed Overseeing execution of high-quality products, services, processes and monitoring quality metrics, identifying opportunities for improvement in local execution and overseeing improvement activities Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, other external contacts as appropriate and driving marketing and sales, implementing new functional processes and tools, to maximize sales efficiency and effectiveness Running the business end-to-end, i.e. front-end to back-end operations, including marketing, product management, sales, research and development, engineering, project management, manufacturing, sourcing and service Implementing and ensuring compliance with global and local standards, rules, tools, policies and processes related to integrity/operations/project execution, sharing functional best practices and lessons learned across the organization Acting as divisional representative when addressing customers and other stakeholders in India. Acting as representative for PAPI in India leadership teams and managing PAPI resource pools (service, operations, sales, functions), balancing capacity with the needs from the different BLs Supporting execution of the sourcing strategy in line with division strategy and processes, managing across BLs present in India when applicable. Managing and implementing shared functions like HR, HSE and implementing business compliance standards and regulations in coordination with all business lines represented, including adherence to any country level standards and governance requirements Your background Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering and MBA would be an added advantage Minimum 15 years of managerial experience in different roles and proven track of record in leading team Experience in process industries like metal, cement, pulp and paper, mining, oil and gas Experience in leadership management, international project, exposure towards end to end commercial, operations and portfolio (products) and limited to R&D Experience and business strategy, business development and responsible for end to end profit and loss More about us Process Industries division delivers complete electrification and automation solutions, industry-specific products and lifecycle services across industries.
