Job Description

The role is responsible for the overall execution of the HR strategy and consolidation of HR processes to prepare for growth.

An important initiative will be to benchmark HR processes within the industry and create a robust and competitive HR advantage within the F&B industry

Reporting: Head HRHR Automation

  • Selection of an appropriate HRIS for HR Automation and Implementation of HRIS Automation
  • Create a robust HR MIS to advise management
HR policy and Processes
  • Benchmark HR processes within industry and build in rigour for implementation of policies and processes
  • Monitor Implementation of policies on ground and audit of the same
  • Enagage and educate stake holders on policies
Performance Management
  • Create and/or make changes to KRA and Performance Norms as and when required
  • Track productivity metrics
  • Create and track performance based incentive schemes
  • Implement appraisal policies
Recruitment and Onboarding
  • Define and streamline the process to focus on quality.( Frontline Recruitment, Supervisory Recruitment are focus areas initially)
Retention Strategy and Execution
  • Implement retention strategy for frontline restaurant staff through an effective engagement processes
  • Create a defined career progression plan for restaurant staff
  • Talent development and Succession Planning especially for Key Talent like Management trainees and Chefs
HR costs
  • Creating and tracking HR budgets by putting in productivity norms after engaging stakeholders
Others:
  • Role will be based out of Mumbai and will require moderate travel 8-10 days a month

Essential Competencies
  • Strong competence in HR and L&D concepts and track record of 12 -18 years in restaurant industry
  • Core domain knowledge and Skills in Recruitment and PMS
  • Business Orientation- Adapt HR systems to business requirements and innovate when required
  • Ability to engage and influence diverse stakeholders and work independently
  • Straddle the strategic and operational requirements of the role- will be a high involvement role
  • Adapatibility and Flexibility
  • Exposure to volume hiring for frontline and campus recruitment is mandatory
  • Handling a Team and multiple locations
