HR Director Location: New Delhi, India Main purpose of position
Currently we are looking for a HR Director in New Delhi, India, to be part of our global team working together towards our vision – Improving our future. As our HR Director you will be playing a key role driving high quality performance and development for Scatec, primarily working from India, but covering the wider region in Asia (Vietnam, Malaysia, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Philippines) Main responsibilities

• Management, leadership and organisational development: ensure implementation and development of the local organisation, leadership and management in line with Scatec's vision, mission, values, strategy and ethical framework
• Recruitment and onboarding: responsible for employer branding in the region and timely recruitment and onboarding of required level and quality of new hires
• Performance development, training and development: responsible for strengthening a holistic performance and competence driven culture in the country/region, manage and recommend strategic direction for people development within the organisation and ensure a motivational climate within the organisation including adequate opportunities for career growth and development
• Compensation and benefits: ensure implementation and development of compensation and benefits based on corporate guidelines and within the thinking of total rewards
• Employee relations: be a compliant and efficient employer role and promote a diverse, fair and motivational working environment
• Office management: coordinate, manage and ensure efficient office and HR administration in India and other offices in the region and ensure management of all third party services and service agreements, including relevant rental and lease agreements

Qualifications and competencies

• University degree in HR, organisational development or similar
• At least 15 years’ experience or relevant background from HR and organisation management
• Experience working in an international matrix organisation
• Strong knowledge about employment legislation in India (other Asian employment legislation knowledge is an advantage)
• Fluent in English, spoken and written
