Monitors and oversees that appropriate storage level provisioning is maintained. Works with manager to ensure operations and maintenance support of storage infrastructure and services through analysis and performance oversight.
Provides recommendations to improve the storage infrastructure, addresses critical issues and root cause analyses.
Participates in the execution of the business continuance and disaster recovery plans. Engaged in the design and operational execution of the storage disaster recovery process, as needed.
Leads the necessary storage infrastructure maintenance and data migration activities, as required. Coordinates responses to change requests and incident reports.
Supports the management and maintenance of the company\'s storage-based systems and the deployment of these technologies.
Participates in capacity planning, providing support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of storage infrastructure and services. Monitors server/storage service backups and any processes related to these systems, providing regular oversight and problem resolution.
Recommends and/or initiates the selection and hiring of employees. Trains and evaluates employees to enhance their performance, development, and work product. Addresses performance issues and makes recommendations for personnel actions. Makes recommendations for salary increases, transfers, and terminations to manager.
Assists in developing and implementing standards and procedures to improve team efficiency and accuracy.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Bachelor\'s degree in computer science, management information systems, or related field preferred
Six or more years of working with distributed computer systems, software and associated networks
Two or more years of leadership experience
Experience working with the technology industry
Experience working with company products and operating systems
Experience working with storage protocols

Skilled in integrating distributed computing hardware and software systems

Good interpersonal skills to interact with customers, senior level personnel and team members
