: Roles and Responsibilities u00A0 Responsible for handling escalated incidents and High Availability environment incident Management on UNIX Platform [Solaris]. Problem Management on UNIX Solaris platform. Perform Root Cause Analysis using quality tools. Work experience on High Availability (Veritas & Sun Clusters) implementation, configuration and troubleshooting Work experience on UNIX virtualization products Change Management: Prepare Implementation, backout and test plan for Change records. Perform risk and impact analysis for changes. Configuration Management: CMDB audits and regular updates of CMDB. Routine Performance Analysis, Capacity analysis, security audit analysis reportsu00A0to customer for necessary planned changes HA engineering for architecture of HA environment with OS / patch Release management, Application load and maintain configuration of Central OS image servers. Scripting for monitoring/ automating the Sys admin activity for change scheduled as projects on multiple servers Analysis of availability, configuration management for reporting to customer Disaster Recovery planning and conducting DR tests. Responsible for Standard Operating procedures issuance to incident management team. Prepare Service delivery reports Routine Performance Analysis, Capacity analysis, security audit analysis reportsu00A0to customer for necessary planned changes Responsible for creating and maintaining Standard Operating procedures for incident management team. Identify and drive continual improvement program in UNIX environment and improve the service efficiency. Qualification Bachelor of Engineering or 3 Years regular Diploma or graduation Total 8-12 yearsu2019 experience and 8+ years of relevant experience in Solaris system administration. Experience in working with ITIL based delivery model. Work experience as a sys admin in enterprise class environment. Work experience on High Availability (Clusters) implementation, configuration and troubleshooting. Work experience on UNIX virtualization products. Experience in Shell/Perl scripting, security hardening and security tools. Interpersonal sensitivity and customer responsiveness Leadership skills Strong consulting skills, flexibility and resourcefulness Ability to communicate complex technical contents plainly and simply Mandatory Skills - Expert Level System Administration Skills on Solaris 11 and earlier Solaris Versions - Solaris Zones - Administration and Management - Veritas Volume Manager - SUN Volume Manager - Veritas Cluster Server (VCS) - Storage Host connectivity/Management (HP, EMC, IBM, Hitachi, Netapp - any one) Clusters: Redhat Cluster, VCS or Veritas Cluster, Sun Cluster, VMWare Cluster, SUSE Cluster, HP-UX MC-ServiceGuard Skills Desirable: SAN/Network hardware configuration Knowledge.
