Expectations The Associate Manager- Logistics - CPS India supervises day-to-day administration of the warehouse function by monitoring daily material movement and actual production schedules versus inventory levels. The incumbent will be responsible for maintaining stock information and inventory control.
The role will supervise the warehouse team comprising of staff and operators with a focus on mentoring and coordination. Key Responsibilities Day to Day Operations Ensure to meet requirements on warehouse management such as the right storage location for each material, temperature control, GMP, Housekeeping and Safety etc. Ensure daily activities of receiving and delivery process are performed according to quality procedure Ensure to meet customer requirements on delivery lead time, correct shipment, customer complaint handling etc Ensure optimum level of all inventories category (Concentrate and Beverage Base, Ingredients and Packaging) Ensure adherence to The Coca- Cola Quality System requirements specific to work area Coordination with Supply Chain with regards to scheduling, capacity loading and ingredient and finished product handling MIS reports on warehouse performance and efficiencies Ensure use of conforming equipment for process and periodic process capability study for warehouse processes Lead continuous improvement programs in warehouse on productivity, quality and safety Adherence to the Confidentiality, Safety, Security, Environment, Regulatory practices while execution Ensure the policies and procedures are followed during work with regards to safety, security, regulatory and confidentiality and thus maintain a safe working environment Ensure the working conditions are safe and without any risk to the health and injury of the associates Ensure adherence to the set safety norms, procedures & standards. Drive Accident Free Safety Culture through demonstrated leadership Report & respond appropriately to any situation as soon as it becomes unsafe or unhealthy Participate and contribute to different improvement initiatives People Management Set clear, business oriented objectives and priorities that are focused at delivering result for all levels Facilitate, support and mentor team members to fully utilize their potential and achieve all expected results Coaching & mentoring of team members and follow fair and consistent treatment to all associates This position requires the ability to understand the voice of customers, to listen and understand all the different perspectives in a situation or business problem, such as: Warehouse & Inventory Management Employee Engagemen Cultural diversity, language and timezones This position is to develop new processes and tools to deliver process efficiency and cost reduction as well as improvements in the functional area managed The role supervisors all staff and operators in the logistics team and monitors day to day performance, coaching & feedback, monthly Performance Enablement discussions and engagement of team Functional Competencies Expertise in relevant taxation laws such as GST, e-way bill and customs (Mandatory) Expertise in SAP Exposure to WMRF/WMS (Warehouse Management systesm) (Mandatory) Knowledge of Exports Planning and Organising Exposure to problem solving and Operational Excellence tools People Management Experience 2-4 years experience in SC function in manufacturing set up in Foods, FMCG, or distribution companies Proficient in MS Excel Educational Requirement Bachelors degree in Engineering preferre Skills: Continual Improvement Process; Process Efficiencies; Inventory Management; Quality Management Systems (QMS); Warehouse Inventory
