Job Description

The City Operations Manager will be based in Pune, India reporting directly into the Head of B2B India, Uber Shuttle. The City Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing Uber Shuttle customer\'s ground transport operations, develop and maintain relationships, and project managing initiatives to improve processes. Additionally, this person will manage a team of contingent workforce deployed to manage ground operations in the city. This role is best suited for people who are comfortable working with external customers, managing ground transport operations, handling tough situations and taking business ownership.

What You\'ll Do

• Be an owner: We\'re building a business and there\'s a lot that we don\'t know. You will need to be a self-starter that doesn\'t shy away from facing challenges and takes initiative to ensure we move the business forward
• Day-to-day ops management : Work with assigned workforce to ensure daily performance of trips. Ensure timeliness, safety and hassle-free commute service to the customer
• Relationship Management : Develop and maintain relationships with our B2B customers and help them grow with Uber. Build and drive engagement through various channels.
• Service Delivery : Make sure customer SLAs are being met through active collaboration with the fleet partners and technology providers
• Data Analysis : Perform data analysis, share reports with internal and external stakeholders and share suggestions for continuous improvement

What You\'ll Need

• 2+ years of proven experience in the employee transportation service industry
• Prior experience in business development, operations management, account management, fleet management is a plus
• The ability to clearly communicate and present information to collaborators across all levels of the business
• Proven ability to lead cross functional initiatives at a similar fast paced organization
• Strong business and operational acumen as well as critical problem solving skills
• Proactive and creative solutions-driven approach, with a \'get it done\' mentality
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets with the ability to help visualize data for customer and internal presentations
• Must be comfortable with using technology platforms to provide an online experience to the customers

Basic Qualifications

• Prior experience in directly managing employee transport operations for a large customer in Pune
• Experience in working with fleet service providers, or transport technology players
• Account management experience with tech startups
