The team accelerates sales activity by attracting, engaging and converting prospects through the delivery of compelling Gartner insights and experiences across the buyer journey.

Job Brief:

The Web Operations Specialist will maintain and enhance Gartner\xe2\x80\x99s public website. You\xe2\x80\x99ll partner with content managers, designers, and developers to amplify Gartner\xe2\x80\x99s brand, drive digital experience and drive high-quality leads. Through your role, we\xe2\x80\x99ll ensure that gartner.com meets best-in-class standards for website governance, as you manage a production queue and help CMS authors publish high quality content that converts. What You Will do:
  • Ensure website consistency and reliability by resolving web-related issues and incidents across four distinct marketing teams.
  • Manage tickets in the Web Ops queue, escalating tickets to IT (via JIRA) and project managing those tickets where necessary.
  • Act as a publisher, working closely with Content Managers to ensure that content is published or updated in a timely manner and performing quality assurance to ensure that content is ready for publication.
  • Document requirements and acceptance criteria for visual and technical enhancements to the website, factoring in best practices for UX, SEO, mobile optimization, accessibility, and privacy
  • Assist with ticket prioritization for IT developers as part of weekly scrum stand-ups
  • Onboard new authors into a distributed authoring workflow
  • Lead regular training and drop-in sessions on CMS, authoring and publishing and website best practices
  • Act as a point of contact for key stakeholders on publishing workflows and processes.
  • Proactively identify and resolve website-related issues, including broken links, page errors, and site speed concerns.
What You Will Need:
  • BS or BA in Web/Interactive Development, Digital Marketing, IT, or a related field preferred
  • 2- 4 years experience working on a web or digital marketing team
  • Demonstrated understanding of web best practices and site optimization
  • Experience authoring in a CMS, Adobe Experience Manager preferred
  • Proficient in writing and understanding HTML and CSS; experience documenting technical and design elements for developers
  • Strong computer/technical skills and ability to quickly master new software
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate with teammates and stakeholders cross-functionally, cross-regionally, and globally
  • Know how to prioritize tasks and understand/adhere to SLAs while working in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience writing acceptance criteria and requirements for development teams
