The Email Operations Specialist works with teams across BCG to extend the reach of BCG’s content through external and internal email marketing activities. This role is responsible for driving the overall email communication strategy forward to increase awareness of the depth and breadth of the BCG Account Based Emails (ABE), managing our vendor, managing the Project Management platforms owned by the Email Operations team. This role focuses on performing daily tactical activities that drive a global program. This person will assist with the development and execution of email campaigns for teams that are located around the world. The ideal candidate for this role should have experience creating email campaigns, handling recipient data from CRM systems, working in robust marketing automation platforms, and analyzing engagement performance to iteratively improve email products. He/she will coordinate with various internal and external resources to drive integrated, strategic initiatives across digital channels platforms (including web and social). The ideal candidate for this role is enthusiastic, able to juggle multiple projects at once, and motivated to enhance the status quo email marketing activities. A willingness to experiment and comfort with changing requirements is very important. Meticulous attention to detail is essential for this role. This person should have experience working for people across geographies. Being able to flex timings to accommodate calls in the evening as the person will be working across geographies is a must.

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
Bachelor’s degree – degree in marketing or communications preferred
3-5 years working in a professional setting – for a professional services firm preferred
Experience in email marketing/ marketing automation (experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or Marketo is a plus)
Experience with graphics, email design/layouts
Experience with gathering and interpreting marketing analytics data to inform innovation
Experience in working with technologies and software that support email marketing, including:
HTML programming
Photoshop
Email marketing tools
Excel, PowerPoint
Database management
Web and email marketing analytics tools and reporting – Google Analytics and/or Adobe Analytics
