We are currently hiring for a VP Sales position for a well funded B2B tech startup based in Chennai.
Responsibilities:
- Take charge of leading rapid expansion targets to meet formidable revenue goals
- Analyze data, stay on top of market trends, and make informed decisions that will keep us ahead of the curve
- Report on sales performance, provide valuable insights, and identify areas for improvement to the CEO and other executives
- Establish monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales targets for the sales team.
- Identify and nurture relationships with strategic customers to land strategic deals for the company.
- Create a roadmap to achieve multi-fold growth in ARR, detailing initiatives, timelines, and resources.
- Create Sales playbooks for optimizing sales processes with best practices and technology for efficiency.
- Recruit, train and manage a team of high performing Account Managers
- Facilitate and drive performance management processes
- Collaborate with Product and Marketing Teams to support roadmap activity
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge through attending events, reviewing publications and participating in professional societies
Requirements:
- 11+ years of overall experience in sales, sales operations, or growth-focused roles
- Experience is scaling inside sales teams would be ideal.
- Extensive sales management experience with a proven track record of exceeding targets, across B2B technology-driven products/SaaS companies
- Unstoppable leadership skills and a passion for inspiring and managing sales teams
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills that will help you connect with customers and partners
- A deep understanding of sales processes, techniques, and methodologies that will make you a master of your craft
- An analytical mind that can make data-driven decisions and keep us on the cutting edge
