Established in 2020, MUFG Global Services is 100% subsidiary of MUFG Bank Ltd having offices in Bengaluru and Mumbai. MGS has been set up as a Global Capability Centre / Centre of Excellence to provide support services across various functions such as IT, KYC/ AML, Credit, Operations etc. to MUFG Bank offices globally. MGS has plans to significantly ramp-up its growth over the next 18-24 months while servicing MUFGs global network across Americas, EMEA and Asia Pacific

Position details: Syndicated Debt Services, Member Operations - VP

Job Summary

This function will be responsible for managing the Wipro Member Servicing Team in India, supporting MUFG Bank, Ltd., New York Branch.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the day-to-day management of the Member Offshore IRIS and Loan Admin group, servicing Commercial Loan assets. Typical activities include notice management, bookings/amendments, fundings, paydowns, rollovers, and other life cycle events
• Ensure all lending transactions are managed appropriately, minimizing operational risks and losses, and ensuring compliance with all bank policies and procedures
• Act as the main point of contact related to SOX testing, internal and external audit requests, issue escalation, etc.
• Minimize population of KRIs, breaks, and exception items within the space
• Coordinate with the VP for support on initiatives, including technology or infrastructure enhancements, system upgrade and replacement efforts, human capital discussions, etc. and ensure appropriate resource allocation, business requirements, SME knowledge, testing, and implementation
• Design and implement departmental structural and procedural changes where necessary
• Performance management, including setting objectives, performance evaluations, disciplinary procedures

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience
• Comprehensive knowledge of the Syndicated Loan Market and Commercial Loan Servicing
• In-depth knowledge of Syndicated Loan Market initiatives aimed at streamlining and improving settlement automation and servicing, including API integration with industry standard platforms, FpML, Blockchain, DLT, OCR, Robotics/Automation
• Deep understanding of Syndicated Loan Market conventions to manage the banks Commercial Loan products
• Management experience, including managing a remote team
• Comfortable interacting with senior internal and external stakeholders, including the Banks Clients, Investors, other Agent Banks, Issuing Banks, Syndications, Front Office etc.
• Ability to analyze and streamline operational processes, improving productivity and efficiency
• Knowledge of systems used to manage the Syndicated lending business: ACBS, Loan IQ, Clearpar, Syndtrak, Intralinks, Debt Domain
