Key Responsibilities:
\xe2\x97\x8f Backend development: Design, develop, and maintain high-performance and
scalable backend services in Golang. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to
integrate our web service into third-party game clients. Communicate progress
regularly and seek clarification on requirements when necessary.
\xe2\x97\x8f API development: Help design and implement HTTP APIs to support
SDK-related functionalities for game studio partners.
\xe2\x97\x8f Database design: Design scalable database collections and queries.
\xe2\x97\x8f Security: Implement and be a champion of security best practices in the
backend architecture.
\xe2\x97\x8f Roadmap Paving: Contribute to the development of the backend roadmap,
ensuring alignment with business goals and user expectations.
\xe2\x97\x8f Code review: Participate in code reviews and contribute to the overall
improvement of our development processes.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you should have:
\xe2\x97\x8f Software engineering experience: 4+ years professional experience writing
software.
\xe2\x97\x8f Golang experience: 2+ years experience building Golang applications.
Experience with AWS SDK, Kubernetes, and Redis is also desired.
\xe2\x97\x8f Database mastery: High level of proficiency and hands-on experience with using
databases, including data modeling, query optimization, indexing, aggregation
framework, scaling, sharding, and transactions.
\xe2\x97\x8f Self-Sufficiency: Ability to work with limited supervision across different time
zones, to communicate progress regularly, and to seek clarification on
requirements when necessary.
\xe2\x97\x8f Adaptability: Willingness to adapt to evolving project requirements and
contribute to the overall success of the team. Experience working in a startup
environment is a plus.
\xe2\x97\x8f Communication: Communicate effectively with remote team members, both
written and verbally, providing progress updates, flagging potential roadblocks.
