Optimus is looking for an experienced Sr. Test Automation Engineer, wiling to learn python to join our team in India. We provide flexibility to team members to work from a place of their choice. Since it is a remote work based opportunity, you should have proper infrastructure at your place of work. This is a remote position. Roles and responsibilities

• Identifying and selecting the automation test cases
• Applying various designs patterns/Framework models applicable for test automation
• Configuring Test Environment and setting of test data
• Setup Integrated Development Environment (IDE)
• Follow automation test plan
• Creating, enhancing, debugging, log analysis and executing the automated test scripts
• Coming up with exact solutions for problems related to object identity and error handling
• Managing the changes and executing test automation scripts
• Interacting with customers/clients and participating in daily scrum meetings
• Manage daily deliverables & provide reports

• 3 + years of experience in test automation with Python/ Java/ C#
• Hands on any test automation framework with Pytest/ TestNG/ Nunit
• Prior demonstrable experience with Selenium, appium and Page Object Model
• Good understanding of OOPS concepts
• Expertise in software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
• Should have experience in Agile Methodologies
• Good understanding and experience on STLC
• Expertise in debugging code and exception handling
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills
• Ability to update technical documents
• Proficiency in automating end to end tests spanning the whole system from front end to backend/API with experience in all test phases including functional, integration and system, and regression testing

• B.Tech/B.E (CS, IT, EC, EE ), MCA
• Minimum 3 years of experience in test automation
• Willingness and ability to learn and work on Python and its related test automation frameworks
• Experience with Git/GitHub
• Knowledge of cloud native technologies, CI/CD pipeline
• Ability to work with minimal supervision in remote work environment
• Motivated and results oriented individual with
• ability to quickly learn, apply new concepts

• Knowledge of API automation testing and scripting using Python
• Experience in tools like JIRA, TestRail etc.
