Job Description

This role will be remote until October 2022 or when the Google office in Pune opens, (whichever is earlier). After this, you will be required to work from the Google Pune office.
Note: Google's hybrid workplace includes remote and in-office roles. By applying to this position you will have an opportunity to share your preferred working location from the following:

Minimum qualifications:

• 10 years of experience in JavaScript, Web Applications, and Front-End Development.

• Experience with CSS pre-processing frameworks (e.g., Sass, Less).

• Experience in designing and implementing user interfaces (UIs) and translating design into production code or prototypes.

• Experience with people management.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience developing with the AngularDart web app framework.

• Experience with a scripting language (e.g., Python, Ruby, etc.).

• Knowledge of web design and the fundamentals of user experience, including accessibility.

Responsibilities

• Manage the existing BLR-based team.
• Lead the technical design and implementation of projects.
• Work with the other leads in Beam UXE team to set priorities, goals, and strategy.
• Work with UX designers, project managers and engineers to implement solutions to web development issues.
• Launch, iterate, and make a difference. Provide coding expertise, and be ready to make products better for users.
