Job purpose:
This position requires configuring and supporting global Payroll applications as per client needs. As part of system configuration, you will need to document and seek client\xe2\x80\x99s sign off on business requirements, configure and test the system as per the requirements. In the support role you will troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to global Payroll tools by liaising with various stakeholders. The successful candidate will have a high level of attention to detail, the ability to execute and deliver project deliverables on budget and on time, and multi-task in a dynamic environment. This position requires, customer contact, and you must possess excellent communication, consulting, and probing skills to effectively manage client expectations. The Global Product Team is an integral part of our Global Payroll offering, playing a crucial role in the successful deployment and ongoing support of our platform. This team\'s dedication to client satisfaction, global coordination, and continuous improvement is essential for the success of our products and the growth of our business.

  • Knowledge of Payroll processes
  • High level of attention to detail, ability to execute and deliver project deliverables on budget and on time, and multi-task in a dynamic environment
  • Admin on all areas within our Implementation methodology \xe2\x80\x93 i.e. environment requests
  • First line Triaging test issues (SIT/UAT/Parallel)
  • Full User Set Up including comms to employees and test accounts per client
  • Configuration tasks for example
  • Gross to net configurations
  • Initial client set up Analyze Payroll and other Data
  • Analyze Payroll Processing Data
  • Platform Set Up
  • Analysis and Mapping IaaS
  • IaaS Configurations
  • Testing
  • HyperCare
  • Full regression testing in new change controls with Quality Assurance checks / support when handed over from the platform
  • Data migration of employees / company level data including quality checks post import
  • Experience with HRIS systems (Integrations (SFI / SFTP) highly recommended and any other related programs useful for executing the above responsibilities. Experience with Workday and SuccessFactors integrations.
  • Ability to keep up with current developments in technology and software development best practices to ensure that Ceridian\'s the platform remains competitive and meet the needs of the market.
  • Knowledge of Payroll is a strong plus
  • Advanced skills in MS Word, Outlook, SQL, and Excel (v lookups, pivots, macros, etc.)
  • Excellent communication skills, written and oral - confident in dealing with all levels of clients, both internally and externally
  • Good personal, organizational skills & ability to interact with individuals at all levels of the organization

Key job responsibilities:


  • Lead the onboarding process for new clients, ensuring a smooth transition onto the platform. Customize and configure the platform to meet the specific needs of each client
  • Collaborate with the third-party vendor initially to acquire necessary skills and knowledge for independent operation
  • Coordinate the connection to local payroll engines in different countries, ensuring seamless integration with the platform
  • Serve as the central point of contact for all global product-related activities.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with local teams and stakeholders
  • Work towards the goal of the global product team operating independently from the third-party vendor
  • Develop and implement training programs to upskill team members on platform functionalities and new features
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for setup processes, troubleshooting guides, and best practices
  • Troubleshoot technical issues, ability to investigate and resolve technical problems that arise with the platform
  • Comfortable in working with end-users, other members of the technology team, and third-party vendors to identify and fix issues
  • Lead testing efforts for new functionalities and platform updates, ensuring they meet quality standards
  • Conduct thorough testing of the connections/integrations and dataflows of the platform to guarantee compatibility and reliability
  • Ability to work closely with a third-party team, such as product management, quality assurance, and customer support, to ensure that technology solutions meet business requirements and customer needs
  • Integrations with clients HRIS systems, IaaS Configurations
  • Work with business owners to identify information needs and develop various reports
  • Proactively identify areas for improvement in processes, workflows, provide feedback on product enhancements based on user feedback and market trends
  • Ensure that knowledge is shared effectively across the global product team
  • Ensures issues are identified, tracked, reported on, and resolved in a timely manner
  • Perform unit and system level testing on applications once configured
  • Demonstrate capability of handling high work pressure during peak seasons
