Position Summary



Support Services Analyst – EDC Canada - Deloitte Support Services India Private Limited

Support Services-Canada is an integral part of the Information Technology Services group. The principle focus of this organization is the development and maintenance of technology solutions that enable the delivery of Function and Marketplace Services and Management Information Systems. Support Services-Canada provide support and access control to all the varied technologies like Active Directory, Exchange, Skype for Business, VMware, Office 365, ServiceNow, Scripting and Automation tools. The EDC Canada-Support Services work unit is responsible for how users within an organization are given IT Support and how it is protected, including saving critical applications, data and systems from unauthorized access while managing the identities and access rights of people both inside and outside the organization. Work you’ll do

As a team member, you will
  • Provide desktop support for users working on Virtual Desktops (VMware).
  • Handles first level support calls/voicemail/chat and provides remote control support to expedite problem solving.
  • Provide on-site deskside support to multiple users in different service lines.
  • Provide 24/7 support to Canadian and USI users working across all business groups for Canadian member firm.
  • Ability to assess and prioritize multiple user needs quickly and efficiently.
  • Experience and understanding of Identity and access management.
  • Create and manage all user accounts and access rights for users in the firm.
  • Responsible for creation of e-mail distribution lists, security groups, shared mailboxes and Public Folders.
  • Coordinate/liaise with other groups/departments as necessary on tickets.
  • Manage information structures, provide access and migrate data within all of the firm's information management tools as per firm guidelines in collaboration with various internal teams.
  • Receive and assess generic mailbox requests.
  • Assist in organizing and managing information based on user needs and information management tools available at Deloitte.
Work Location: Hyderabad Shift Timings: 9am to 6pm, 11am to 8pm, 2pm to 11pm, 6pm to 3am, 9pm to 6am IST (5 rotational shifts)

The team


Our IT & Systems team works behind the scenes and is essential to the Deloitte organization. Our forward-thinking team members have the analytical skills needed to parse mountains of data and stellar communications skills needed to present research, discovery, and recommendations in a logical and easily understandable way. Our technologists provide IT infrastructure support to develop custom enterprise applications.
In addition, the team handles their tasks through varied technologies like Active Directory, Exchange, Skype for Business, VMware, Office 365, ServiceNow, Scripting and Automation tools.

Qualifications Required

  • A Graduate degree
  • Minimum of 1-2.5 years of information technology / management experience preferably in a large corporate setting.
  • A strong commitment to professional client service excellence
  • Excellent interpersonal relations and demonstrated ability to work with others effectively in teams
  • Good verbal and written communications skills
  • Excellent Analytical Skill

Technical Skills

  • 2+ years of related desktop support experience.
  • Willing to work in 24/5 shifts.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10 desktop operating system.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 applications.
  • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills in order to provide support to individuals at all levels within USI and Canada.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Active Directory.
  • Conceptual knowledge of Exchange Server, Lync Server, and Lotus Notes Domini Server.
  • Previous experience with financial and business software.
  • Solid understanding of incident management tools.
  • Understanding of Microsoft Windows Networks and Virtual Desktops (VMware).
  • Experience with incident management tools.
  • Remote troubleshooting expertise.
  • Exposure to large professional services firm/partnership culture a definite asset.
  • Prior experience of providing onsite help to users.
  • Team player who has worked in a multi-team environment.
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Post-secondary education in computer science or related discipline.
  • Minimum of 1-2.5 years of information technology / management experience preferably in a large corporate setting.
