Position Summary



Asst. Manager – Data Analytics Work you’ll do The Assistant Manager will provide support on immigration issues to internal and external immigration stakeholders across all business areas. In this role, the Assistant Manager will apply immigration knowledge to ensure internal and regulatory compliance, support end to end processes, provide coverage and knowledge on immigration issues, deliver analysis and recommendations based on data, and communicate with key business stakeholders. Key Role Description: This role will lead projects and activities associated with Immigration Strategy, Operational excellence, and Technology initiatives for U.S. and USI Immigration Program. The immigration operations group is responsible for data management and analytics, delivering reporting and insights to our business and talent stakeholders, process excellence, strategic projects, technology advances and risk mitigation, cost optimization. He/she will serve as the point person for stakeholders and Talent to evaluate, design, measure and monitor processes and ensure that process outcomes are in harmony with the firm’s strategic goals. The Assistant Manager will also connect and develop relationships with colleagues in Immigration, Business, Finance, Talent, OGC, Risk, and Procurement. Job Responsibilities:
  • Lead activities associated with our Talent immigration automation, artificial intelligence and technology advances, data management, data science, analytics and reporting for our U.S. and USI Immigration Program
  • Providing advisory and implementation services of large-scale data ecosystems including data management, governance, and the integration of structured and unstructured data, utilizing Data analytics platforms such as Alteryx, Tableau prep, Excel macros to generate insights leveraging cloud-based, web-based, or on-premises platforms to help companies unlock the value of big technology investments.
  • Independently enable the immigration strategy, vision, goals, objectives, and metrics working with business and talent stakeholders
  • Create the overall direction for consistent quality methodologies, processes, and procedures
  • Provide proactive focus on early identification and prevention of the issues (standard and applied risk analysis)
  • Develop and deploy Business Process Management system
  • Deploy and improve processes in CRM technology platforms like Sales Force
  • Drive process improvement and leverage Lean Six Sigma methodologies for effective process definition, measurement, and controls
  • Evaluate processes in terms of documentation and performance
  • Support Process Owners with identification and measurement of processes performance targets
  • Document and evaluate current and to-be processes including flow chart, value stream maps, performance metrics, job descriptions, systems, and tools to optimize quality of process performance.
  • Develop quality system ensuring adherence to internal audit and regulation standards
  • Network with industry thought leaders to determine best practices and ideas from within and outside Deloitte
  • React quickly to rapidly changing market conditions and improve business processes by eliminating defects and enhancing quality while achieving and maintaining optimal levels of process performance
  • Develop, design, measure and monitor activities and supporting systems for both new processes and existing processes (process improvement) in achieving excellent quality performance
  • Prepare necessary executive PowerPoint/Tableau presentations and communications to be leveraged both with business and talent stakeholders
  • Perform role of counselor and coach and provide leadership support for the data analytics and reporting team member aligned.
Qualifications:
  • A bachelor's degree in technology or engineering, MIS, operations management, computer science or related academic program; Lean Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience, and demonstrated leadership in developing and implementing complex information management solutions, including project management, process design and implementation experience
  • Designing and implementing reporting and visualization for unstructured and structured data sets; Specifically Utilizing Big Data technologies such as Alteryx, Tableau prep, Advanced Excel
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, be highly organized with a keen eye for detail, and be able to quickly respond to leadership ad hoc requests and shifting priorities.
  • Proven ability to formulate, create, and manage business processes based on proof-of-concept systems
  • Must have a sense of urgency for change and improvement, and a balanced approach to risk taking and achieving results
  • Analytical and conceptual thinker with experience developing creative strategic solutions
  • Ability to facilitate leadership discussions and build consensus around a strategic direction
  • Ability to identify solutions and prioritize according to business goals
  • Comfortable working virtually with colleagues around the globe; capable of working independently and operating effectively in ambiguity
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and Executive level storyboarding in PowerPoint/Tableau
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve results through influence in a cross-functional, matrixed, team environment
  • Self-driven and motivated, experience to interface with technical and business experts, manage multiple projects, and perform as a productive team player and individual contributor
  • Demonstrated track record of taking initiatives from concept to action, and delivering positive results
  • Exposure and knowledge to Immigration and/or Talent processes will be an advantage
  • Strong collaborator and cultural sensitivity skills
  • Ability to work in global cross-office teams
  • Ability to manage confidential information appropriately and professionally
  • Strong competency in core professional skills, especially attention to detail, resourcefulness, responsiveness, follow through, flexibility, initiative, and tact
