Job Summary\xef\xbc\x9a Responsible for the successful leadership and management of unitary department, overseeing sales for all unitary range of products and is directly responsible for the specific booking & revenue targets. In this role, you will be a member of the Regional Leadership Team and will collaborate with the team to develop and execute the overall Unitary VRF, Ductable Sales strategy. This includes design support for HVAC Consultants and sales to contractors in both plan & spec and design build markets. You will directly lead a Team of Outside Sales & Design team & work with other Sales Managers / Account Managers of other Streams to drive revenue growth within the assigned markets. You will be working closely with Sales Offices throughout the country . Over all Responsibilities:

  • Customer and regional sales management, new customer acquisition, customer satisfaction measurement, price management, marketing, maximizing account penetration, market penetration, customer retention, hiring and on-boarding of new sales associates, continued assessment of skills and administering necessary training, setting goals, accurate sales forecasting and consistent use of Trane sales tools and systems.
  • Manage ongoing performance by monitoring and coaching Sales Managers\xe2\x80\x99 effectiveness and efficiency in relation to project attainments, customer service, customer relationship development, and business profitability.
  • Maintain customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, implementing corrective action, and communicating with customers and sales team as needed. Accountable for the development and delivery of Commercial Unitary sales strategy to meet Annual Operating Plan.
  • Expand new customer base in all areas. establishing and driving the sales activities, forecasting, and reporting on bookings, revenue, conversion rates and maintenance of overall pipeline. Accountable for the development and maintenance of the sales plans to include management of leads, quotation activity and order generation.
  • Know the competition, utilities, builders and dealers.
  • Develop contingency plans required for changing market conditions. Must have flexibility to travel to as required to locations in India.
  • Ensure safety performance and compliance at all levels.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree or above (Mechanical Engineering)
  • 10+ years of sales experience in HVAC products or related industry with the same background (related experience in a sales leadership role)
  • Ability to foresee market trends and propose solutions; analyze industry dynamics with a view to developing practical strategies; anticipate emerging issues that have the potential to impact revenue and profit
  • Knowledge of Trane HVAC products and competitor products
  • Demonstrated experience leading & supporting regional business initiatives
  • Experience in driving aligned actions through groups that do not directly report to them.
  • Product management skills: Ability to lead the planning, implementation, and evaluation of projects according to established processes; serve as a consultant for internal and external customers.

  • Capable of working as a team player or independently
  • Strong communication and Fluent English in Speaking and Writing
  • Highly motivated, reliable, self-starter.
