Job Summary: Challenging and dynamic profile that will always keep you updated on the International Business Compliances. This is a vital role which help the organization to mitigate risks and to do business in a compliant manner. This role wants you to be a catalyst in containing and reducing the cost by way of suggesting various cost saving avenues in the area of Export & Import, and support TTIPL & CTSPL Trade Compliance all activities Principal Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance in Customs & Director General of Foreign Trade.
• Ensure that the Imports & Exports are carried out in Complaint manner from Trade Compliance perspective.
• Review the parties from Denied Party Screening perspective and ensure not to transact with Denied Parties / Embargo Countries.
• Anti-Boycott Language identification and resolution.
• Prepare Standard Work / Operating Procedures from Trade Compliance perspective.
• Address & resolve queries from Sales, Finance & Order management teams.
• Quarterly basis review of the Import/Export Transactions, identify issues & provide resolutions
• Filling of Refunds with relevant authorities.
• Special Valuation Branch Application / Renewal.
• Impart trainings to relevant team.
• License Application.
• Handle HTS Classification and manage the data
• Conducting Trade Compliance Audit.
• Customs Broker & Service Providers Contract Management.
• Understand the Free Trade Agreements & various other Trade Agreements with SAARC, and support the application for business request
• Merchanting Trade Transactions monthly report basing on broker report
• Collect MIS / Dashboard / MBR.
• Liaison with Government and Semi Government bodies like – Zonal DGFT, Customs, RBI, EEPC, Chamber of commerce, Export Inspection Agency, Octroi – Municipal Corporation, Air Port Authority etc.

Required Attributes:

• Experience: 1) >10 years’ total experience in Import & Export operation, International logistic, Foreign Trading, Customs and Knowledge of EXIM documentation for IN & SAARC countries. 2) >3-6 years’ full experience on Trade compliance matter and project handling
• Qualification: 1) A post graduate qualification in foreign trade management or Commerce Graduate from a recognized Institution. 2) Master is added advantage. 3) Certification on Export Controls if possible
• Knowledge Areas: Foreign Trade policy, Customs Act + Tariff and Foreign Exchange Regulations, Oracle system using experience.
• Other Attributes: Should have general awareness of Export Import matters and acquaintance with Export Promotion council, Reserve Bank, Customs, Director General Trade offices, Chamber of commerce and other allied Institutions connected with foreign trade.
