Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a/an Senior Manager - Trade Compliance located in Chennai.

What a typical day looks like:

• Administer strategic plans and objectives for Global Trade.
• Develop and deliver company-wide training programs.

• Drive strategies and initiatives at the regional and site level to deliver Global Trade Cost Savings initiatives.
• Respond and maintain classification requests.
• Interface directly with stakeholders to identify, prioritize and execute Trade Policy.
• Define requirements for IT Solutions that support Trade activities.
• In depth knowledge of import/export laws, regulations, policies and procedures.
• Administer strategic plans and objectives for Global Business Services (GBS), Trade
• Develop and deliver training programs.
• Drive strategies and initiatives at the regional and site level to deliver GBS Trade Cost Savings initiatives.
• Support relationships with Government Trade authorities as needed.
• Support audit/assessment programs.
• Interface directly with stakeholders to identify, prioritize and execute Trade Classification & Validation Policy.
• Define requirements for IT Solutions that support Trade activities.
• Actively engage in required consultations, and mentor team members
• Focus on people/talent development by counselling, coaching and impacting others through identification of stretch and challenging goals
• Develop strong relationships across sites and Global Trade professionals
• Demonstrate flexibility, teamwork skills and leadership initiative
• Participate in and contribute to achieving team goals
• Oversee all Classifications and Validation work
• Implement key process strategies and ongoing enhancements to effectively and timely manage classification assignments
• Support risk management, improve international trade compliance and increase operational effectiveness for our clients' supply chains
• Provide insight, connectedness and responsiveness to sites/customers while demonstrating a good understanding of their business
• Lead in developing recommendations and implementation plans.
• Make informed decisions in complex and judgmental areas.

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

• 10+ years of experience in Trade compliance - HTS Classification, ECCN.
• Demonstrates expert functional, technical and people and/or process management skills as well as customer (external and internal) relationship skills. Demonstrates mastery of functional knowledge in relation to other functions and a complete
• In depth knowledge of import/export laws, regulations, policies and procedures.
