Technical Promotion Specialist (ELGM/ IN/ Chennai)

You will be working as Technical Promotion Specialist (ELGM/ IN/ Chennai) and will be part of Electrification business for Smart Buildings division based in Chennai, India. In this role you will be reporting to Sales Specialist \xe2\x80\x93 Product and will be responsible for developing building business so that to achieve order intake and revenue targets for Electrification business for Chennai cluster for technical promotion channel with building business focus and generate new business opportunities.

Your responsibilities

• Exploring the market for new business opportunities in Chennai cluster (Tamil N\xc4\x81du & Puducherry) for LV product segment in the respective region/ territory
• Maintaining relevant data (vis-\xc3\xa0-vis planned v/s actual visits, live enquires, promotional plans, new customers generation and project updates) in the defined template and share with team leader on regular basis
• Meeting architects, consultants, and Project Management Consultants (PMC), cost consultants for working on specifications and converting building projects
• Interacting with residential & commercial building developers and building end customers like IT parks, healthcare, hospitality on a regular basis and support for preference for ABB smart building and smart power products
• Visiting above said customers for generating the leads, enquiries and positioning/ helping to sell the product
• Working on tender design/specs, conducting promotional activities viz. Product demonstrations, inhouse sessions, seminars, webinars, events etc

Your background

• Diploma in (Electrical) Engineering/ Bachelor of Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of experience
• Product & market knowledge of low voltage products
• Require good knowledge on wiring accessories, MCB/DB, MCCB, ACB etc
• Good rapport with Builders & Building End Customers
