Technical Promotion Specialist

You will be working as Technical Promotion Specialist and will be part of Electrification business area for Smart Power division based in Chandigarh, India. In this role you will be reporting to Sales Manager and will be responsible for supporting the local Sales organization/customers in determining the most technically appropriate and cost-effective solutions and preparing technical descriptions of the smart power & smart buildings products and technology to support the proposal process. You will be serving as a key technical resource in the assigned area.

Your responsibilities

• Offering technical advice and provides comment on enquiry specifications for customers/channels/sales engineers with regards to ABB products/systems/ applications
• Providing technical support during the technical meeting, product presentations and negotiations
• Performing analytic and diagnostic studies to determine most suitable technical solution to meet customer needs
• Preparing and delivering technical presentations and demonstrations for both internal staff and customers on complex product issues
• Proposing technical solutions for complex enquiries and offering product/solution/service-related training
• Preparing and checking technical articles for publication and managing administrative procedures in technical promotion processes and reporting as per needs of the organization

Your background

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree or diploma in electrical or electronics
• Minimum 5-10 years of experience is required
• Experience in sales and business development of low voltage switchgear products
• Collaborative mindset with excellent written and oral communication in English
