We are looking for a Team Manager to join our US States Editing Team in Hyderabad, India. This is an amazing opportunity to work on providing curated trademarks to the market and as such enabling our customers to make informed decisions about their trademarks. We are creating a new team in Hyderabad. The team will consist of 14 Associate Content Analysts and will be reporting to the Team Manager. You'll be reporting into the Content Manager Trademark Indexing. As Team Manager you will be accountable for managing a Content Operations team within Clarivate's Content Operations IP Group, working in close collaboration with all leadership levels in Content Operations and the wider business units across all our strategic locations. You'll play an integral role in executing our strategy for development and future growth. You will actively participate as a key business partner in the development of new and existing content, technology strategies and solutions that align with the business and operational goals of Clarivate, and create a culture focused on execution, delivery, and performance. We would love to speak with you if you have skills and experience in team management, time management, reporting (from creation to execution) and prioritization.

About You - experience, education, skills, and accomplishments

  • At least 2 years' experience in a global corporate setting with previous management or equivalent experience in project or process leadership
  • Strong leadership, collaboration, motivation, and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively and persuasively with a variety of stakeholders in different geographies.
  • Ability to roll up sleeves and lead the team from front.and deal with ambiguity and lead through change, to make decisions in a timely manner despite risk and uncertainty.
  • Ability to solve problems, focus on what's important, eliminate blockers and define priorities.
  • Excellent process management capabilities with a strong focus for identifying opportunities for synergies and simplification of complex processes. Knowledge of Agile processes and delivery preferred.
  • Excellent management skills in particular defining clear objectives and accountability, monitoring progress, measuring results, and delivering timely and objective feedback.
  • Demonstrating perseverance and courage to achieve goals even when faced with resistance or setbacks.
  • Creating a culture of success, motivating, and developing colleagues to achieve their full potential.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, ...) and computer savvy
  • Bachelor's Degree (Postgraduate) or equivalent work experience required

What will you be doing in this role?
  • Manage a diverse team to support content processing and direct customer value add in Clarivate products.
  • Create a culture focused on execution and performance. Ensure key performance indicators for quality, timeliness and completeness are established and delivered, with reporting, best practises, and robust quality control to drive continuous improvement.
  • Set and execute clear operational delivery, including development and operational standards and SLAs that create a robust set of processes (manual and automated) for operational needs within Clarivate's Content ecosystem.
  • Help define and manage the departmental budget for all expenditures and headcount.
  • Build a customer-focused Content team and develop an environment which stimulates innovation.
  • Play a role on major decisions and initiatives in a manner that will enable the Content Function to achieve its long-term objectives.
  • Act with velocity and focus to promote the services of the Content organization.
  • Communicate initiatives to senior management, set timelines and manage expectations for all deliverables and releases.
  • Work cross functionally as part of strategic relationships with stakeholders across Clarivate including but not limited to Content Operations and Content Technology, Product Managers, Analytics, Program and Quality Management and vendors.
About the Team

We curate Trademark content to deliver to our internal and external customers for Search and Watch services. The quality of those services relies on our team delivering first class data.

This is a great opportunity to setup a new team and drive the project and operations specialties teams under your leadership.

Hours of Work

12-9pm IST or 2-11pm IST. This is full time role
