As Team Leader you will work primarily on managing a team of recruiters and administrators to ensure that business demand objectives are met on a timely basis. You will support the learning and development of the team across all aspects of pre-screening, quality assurance, compliance audits and individual development needs.

You will be passionate about developing people and be able to demonstrate you lead by example. You will also need to have strong stakeholder engagement skills as you will be required to attend strategic calls and meetings in which you will articulate the status of hiring against demand.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of 2 recruiters and 2 administrators. Ensuring that they are proactively sourcing candidates from a variety of platforms such as job board applications, social media, internal and external referrals, CV databases and more
  • Manage stakeholder and candidate experience by ensuring the team provide the very best experience at every stage of the process
  • Manage the team on building 'talent pools' and ensure a healthy pipeline for future requirements are being built
  • Ensure that all candidates offer signings are closed off before day 1 of joining
  • Manage and develop individual team member growth through monthly 1-2-1s
  • Work closely with hiring managers to ensure interview standards are met and maintained and the recruitment process is fair and consistent
  • Manage 3rd party DBS and Credit Checks aligned with client contractual requirements
  • Working on continuous attrition initiatives from a talent acquisition perspective to help improve the recruiting and on boarding process
  • Placing job adverts on internal and external platforms
  • Manage your own portfolio of open positions
  • Manage the compliance requirements from a recruitment perspective
  • Providing updates to a variety of stakeholders on candidate activity for future intakes
  • Conducting interview assessment audits of hiring managers to ensure a consistently high standard of interviewing and engagement for all candidates

Qualifications

Experience & education:
  • You will be a credible recruitment team leader who is looking for an exciting opportunity to further develop your career within an in-house talent acquisition team
  • You will have a minimum of 4 years recruitment experience within either a busy recruitment consultancy dealing with volume recruitment or ideally a busy in-house talent acquisition team recruiting for volume requirements for various lines of business
  • You will have a minimum of 2 years recruitment team leadership / management experience and be knowledgeable on driving team performance and managing throughputs
  • Experience of recruiting for customer service, sales and technical support positions is highly desirable but not essential
  • Exceptional knowledge of MS Office package
  • Experience and knowledge of working with a variety of job boards and social media platforms for sourcing talent
  • Experience of using LinkedIn for headhunting campaigns and networking
  • Experience of managing candidates throughout the full cycle process from sourcing to interviewing, pre-offer to offer process and on-boarding
  • Experience in managing compliance from a recruitment perspective
