Job Description


Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will ensure the development of a highly efficient in-house recruitment function. You will develop key relationships with the various function of GBS to ensure we hire qualified people for various departments that supports and meets the needs of GBS. You will be responsible for developing a highly effective recruitment and talent support function. Main Responsibilities Develop a wide range of networks to ensure the widest possible pool of quality, skilled and experienced applicants for all open positions within GBS. Coordinate with Hiring Managers to anticipate future hiring needs. Advise and provide guidance to hiring managers on effective recruitment procedures and interview techniques. Ensure the company\'s career page promotes and attracts sufficient interest in the company. Utilizing social networks to source and connect with possible candidates. Ensure that the school has the appropriate talent pool to address the development of new campuses and expansion of existing campuses. Develop a comprehensive knowledge of all the needs of GBS requirements. Advertising vacancies by drafting and placing adverts in a range of media. Attend relevant conferences, job fairs, seminars, etc. to ensure they keep up to date with modern recruitment practices and promote the GBS brand. Monitoring and reporting on all key metrics associated with the recruitment function. Headhunting - identifying and approaching suitable candidates. Utilize GBS ATS system to develop candidates\' database to match future vacant positions. Receiving and reviewing applications, managing interviews and tests and creating a shortlist of candidates for hiring managers. Requesting references and checking the suitability of applicants before submitting their details to the Hiring Manager. Be proactive in identifying areas in need of improvement and implement effective strategies to address the need. Requirements Degree in Human Resources or relevant field or appropriate level of industry experience 8-12 years of experience. Demonstrable experience in large volume recruitment Agency Experience is an advantage Excellent verbal and written communication and team management Demonstrable experience in recruiting for hard-to-find roles. High levels of interpersonal skills Relevant knowledge of all legislative laws associated with the recruitment function. Be diligent and quality oriented. Organized and methodical. Experience at utilizing all social media networks and other professional networks Experience working in Higher Education is desirable OTHER INFORMATION The Talent Acquisition Specialist will also be expected to demonstrate their commitment: To GBS values and regulations, including equal opportunities policy.
