WSP is seeking a Sustainability Consultant with around 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience with experience in sustainability projects to join our large and growing Environmental and Sustainability team to work with our Middle East Advisory Services team. The successful applicant will operate within a team of environmental and sustainability professionals in Bangalore/Noida delivering the highest standards of technical work and aiding the continued success of the E&S team by being an integral part of our client focused delivery of projects. The work will comprise of supporting the team in implementing sustainability strategies and standards on masterplan and building projects. There will also be opportunities for the applicant to develop their consultancy skills, providing input to technical reports and writing proposals and other more complex tasks. You will be joining a well-respected, large and dynamic team with a wide range of clients across different markets and sectors including national and local government, industrial, commercial and scientific sectors. Successful candidate:
- Has three or more years\xe2\x80\x99 experience across the sustainability field within the built environment.
- Professional qualification and work experience with development and/or implementation of sustainability rating systems such as LEED, BREEAM, WELL, Envision, SITES, Mostadam.
- Technical writing to prepare deliverables and monitoring documents for a variety of stakeholders
- Ensure the progression of professional development, through involvement in different types of projects.
- Coordinate with necessary disciplines, internal and external stakeholders to support the successful delivery of projects as appropriate within the sustainability scope
- Bachelor of Engineering/ Architecture (or relevant discipline)
- 3-5 years of professional experience.
- Knowledge in building certification systems such as LEED, WELL, Envision, SITES Mostadam and Estidama is a plus.
- Knowledge in software such as Ansys, Sketchup, Revit, Rhino, Grasshopper is a plus.
- Ability to independently read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings
- Experience in Middle East projects preferred
- Excellent verbal abilities in both written and spoken English
- Comfortable liaising directly with consultants and contractors.
- Experience of working in consultancy or as environmental specialist on master planning projects
- A reasonable level of sustainability knowledge
