The Role : Technical Product Owner

The Team: As part of the Technology Team, you will deliver the data feeds strategy with ground floor innovation through simplification and abstraction of complex data processes across the business. Digitizing Commodity Insights by focusing on Machine-to-Machine interaction, this cross-functional team provide APIs for raw data delivery, streaming ability for real time (Websocket), and bulk delivery for voluminous requests. We deliver content and analytics to internal platforms and directly to external consumers where, when and how it\'s needed.

Responsibilities:

• Translate product requirements into user stories and negotiate the implementation of product features with development teams while maintaining the overall vision and technical integrity of the product
• Assists developers with more complex and detailed projects including root cause analyses, gap analysis etc.
• Insist on a consistent, scalable and sustainable structures across all delivery mediums preventing silo developments for individual downstream consumers
• Create, design, organize, and maintain technical documentation for both internal and external developer audiences. This includes REST API and SDK documentation, developer guides, and code samples.
• Ensure successful product launch by documenting new product features and enhancements, supporting the development of marketing content, and conducting internal training sessions.
• Ensure progress transparency and health reporting to product managers and leadership
• Demo product enhancements to management and key stakeholders after each iteration to show how the team\'s deliverables are contributing to the overall project and portfolio vision

• Act as a subject matter expert for the assigned product or service to facilitate product enhancements and level 3 support
• Become familiar with the services being documented. Understand how to communicate concepts and services to a developer customer segment.
• Develop templates and processes to standardize documentation across multiple services.
• Provide feedback on API design and usability
• Work with developers to document software development processes

• Translates complex data into user-friendly documents, such as user stories, or analysis documents to communicate clearly and effectively technical specifications and instructions to a wide range of audiences.
• Gathers, analyzes, translates and composes technical information into clear, readable documents used by technical and non-technical personnel.
• Work with Product team and prioritize multiple demands and ideas based on available resources and business commitments
• Translate customer requirements into user stories and negotiate the implementation of product features with development teams while maintaining the overall vision and technical integrity of the product
• Excellent time management skills and attention to detail is required
• Excellent verbal/written communication skills, including communicating technical issues to non-technical audiences
• Provides agile best practices, including story grooming, RPR reviews, and retrospectives

What We\'re Looking For:

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent
• Demonstrated ability to write technical material in a clear and concise manner
• Experience writing and maintaining user documentation
• Experience gathering requirements from business and product teams
• Experience with Open API/ swagger
• Ability to work with team members across the region
• Ability to adapt to changing schedule or priorities
• Ability to take ownership of projects and define work with little direction
• Highly skilled in communications (both verbal and written), negotiation, and conflict management
• 8 to 12 years\' experience at global FinTech, cloud or comparable data delivery or consumption company with business exposure
• Experience with Agile Methodology (Kanban, Scrum)
• Experience with Python, SQL
• Experience with API fundamentals
• The desire and ability to learn new technologies quickly
• Strong problem-solving ability, critical thinking skills, creative/innovative thinking

Bonus Points for:

• A good understanding of cloud-based technology and how it works
• Experience with version control systems, like Git
• Experience with HTML and markdown (or the ability and desire to learn)
• Experience with Open API/ swagger
• Experience with writing customer facing technical write-ups and documentation
• Proficient with Python
