Role profile
We have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Product Owner (PO) to join our dynamic team within the London Stock Exchange Group.
You will be joining Corporate Shared Technology - a team that is charged to build, release and continuously improve LSEG’s Tier 1 corporate websites, turning design and ideas into components that will exceed our customers’ expectations. Corporate websites act as the public face of LSEG and the ability to keep those fresh, meaningful, safe, performant and reliable is paramount to the firm.
We are a mature, Agile development team comprising of 14+ scrum teams who implement and maintain our own systems. Our POs, analysts, developers and testers work alongside and cross-functionally to deliver high quality, multiple high value, high risk digital products and initiatives from conception to launch.
This position is ideal for a collaborative and creative Tech PO who facilitates the design, delivery, performance, maintenance of mid to large size AEM implementations.
What you will do:

  • Deliver on External Digital strategy, Capability projects and become a subject matter expert and authority for the applications and projects you work on.
  • Lead 2+ Agile scrum team and own rituals, including Refinement, Sprint Review/Demo, Sprint Planning and Sprint Retro.
  • Own and deliver EPIСs (Feature, Capability or Technology Enabler) refinement, prioritisation to scrum teams.
  • Run EPICs alignment with engineering teams, Business PO and owns UAT success along with Acceptance Criteria and Acceptance Tests validation and sign-off.
  • Contribute to operational value streams and customer journey maps.
  • Break down Business and Tech EPICs into user stories and refines them to meets Definition of Ready (DoR).
  • Sequence User Stories and conduct story point estimation exercise.
  • Assign business value and time criticality to user Stories and calculate cost of delay.
  • Ensure that non-P1/P2 production defects scope are assessed, prioritised and executed.
  • Assess e-2-e features and UI/API responsiveness and performance and security metrics.
  • Together with UX designer/architects assess UX design feedback from early adopters.
  • Together with Architects assess API ease of use feedbacks from early adopters.
  • Own leading indicators that were provided by Business PO introduction/implementation to measure success/validate hypothesis.
  • Propose metrics, leading indicators to measure feature success.
  • Proactively identify changes in scope or product vision.
  • Together with Scrum Master and System Architect own continuous inspect, adapt, improve process.
  • Analyze technical feedback from all stakeholders and initiate technical changes, if required.
  • Responsible for structuring requirements and acceptance tests in a way that teams deliver what is expected.
  • Maintains DoR and ensure user stories meet DoR prior to PI planning for must have scope.
  • Ensures that user stories and technical tasks meet DoR prior to Sprint Planning.
  • Create acceptance criteria and test cases.
  • Supervise acceptance tests automation.
  • Conduct UAT and help Business POs to validate the results.
  • Proactively advise on potential blockers and together with Delivery Manager own release blockers.
  • Contribute to project discoveries, business cases, kickoffs, prepare proposals and statements of work following company standards.

The type of person we would love to meet:
  • Metrics-driven PO with a complete understanding of the Software Delivery Lifecycle and delivery methodologies such as Scrum, SaFE and Kanban.
  • 5+ years of experience as a PO delivering epics, features, user stories, and creating and maintaining functional specifications and NFRs.
  • 5+ years experience on 1+ large size AEM successful project or 3+ small/medium size AEM successful projects (version 6.4 or above).
  • Adobe Certified Expert (ACE) Business Practitioner a plus.
  • Proficient understanding of all AEM components and features like Digital Asset Management, workflows, personalisation, how to overlay components for customisations, integrations with Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target and Commerce solutions like Hybris Commerce.
  • Proficient understanding and working experience of functional specifications for new AEM templates, AEM components including authoring widgets, custom widgets and workflow customisation/creation.
  • Exposure working with content and Authors.
  • Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility needs.
  • Experience with Test Driven Development.
  • Working with onshore and offshore teams.
  • Champion usage of the Atlassian suite (JIRA, Confluence, bitbucket).
  • Proactive, assertive and pragmatic in a demanding and dynamic environment.
  • Servant leaders, who put the team first.

Nice to have:
  • Ability to perform some development and maintenance tasks related to AEM platform code.
  • Experience in installation and configuration of AEM, Groups and Permissions, Access Control Lists, Replication agents, service packs, dispatcher configuration.
  • Experience in Java development, design, and coding (Javascript, HTML, CSS, jQuery, React js and web technologies).
  • Experience in troubleshooting AEM Environment.
