Boeing Global Services Digital Solutions team is currently looking for Experienced Technical Product Owner to join their team in Bengaluru, KA. As a Technical Product Owner, you will be part of the Boeing Global Services Digital Solutions team, which develops software applications and products that create direct value to its customers. You will be working with a group of world-class engineers to define the breakthrough features our customers will love, adopt, and use. The

Technical Product Owner role at Boeing encompasses customer understanding, requirements definition and technical expertise to understand how the customer requirements are developed and delivered. The Technical Product owner is someone who is balanced, whose recommendations are trusted by all sides of the organization, and who can communicate the WHY behind the technology evolution strategies.

The Technical Product Owner will apply an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan and define a product. You will work with Product Management and Architecture to define a product vision and provide guidance to the Development Team. You will define product requirements and product performance requirements, and also assure compatibility of all physical, functional and interface requirements to ensure the product holistically meets customer expectations.

Position Responsibilities:

• Conduct product requirements discovery and analysis
• Quickly learns the customers, industry and product.
• Able to efficiently elicit requirements using a variety of techniques such as interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, storyboards, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, personas, event lists, task and workflow analysis, systems analysis, and/or viewpoints.
• Be a leader for the requirements management process
• Can decomposes high-level business and user requirements to the appropriate level of detail suitable for use by those who must base their work on the requirements.
• Uses a variety of techniques to ensure requirements are unambiguous and succinct such as epic/capability/feature/user story decomposition, low fidelity wireframes, truth tables, UML models, business process models, and system threads.
• Monitors the efficacy and correctness of the requirements management process.
• Continuously evaluates the quality of requirements.
• Ensures traceability is implemented.
• Takes corrective actions or escalates as needed.
• Contributes to the continuous improvement of the requirements management process.
• Develop clear and detailed product specifications for developers

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): (9-12 years)

• Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 to 12 years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master 8 to 11 years' related work experience.
• Minimum 5 years of successfully developing complex requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
• Customer facing experience
• Detail oriented, analytical and inquisitive
• Ability to work independently and with others
• Extremely organized with strong time-management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Previous experience developing software systems is preferred
• Knowledge of the aviation industry is preferred
