Position: Sr. Manager (Material Planning & Logistics)

Function/ Dept.: Manufacturing

Reporting to: Manufacturing Head

Job Location : Sabarkantha, Gujarat

About Company/ Industry Prefer: Battery Manufacturing/ Automotive/ Renewables)

Qualification: BE / specialization in SCM Preferred or equivalent

Experience: Min 14-15 years (Relevant Years of Experience 5-8 years)

Job Role: To lead and manage the Material planning, store and logistics for business support and ensure timely delivery to customers in more efficient way as per plan

Roles and Responsibility:

1.Preparing monthly schedules as per business plan and revenue and sharing forecast with RM supplier in association with purchase team.

2.Ensuring timely delivery with required quality and meeting PPC planning to avoid any line stoppage.

3.Inventory management with defined optimum levels based on analysis and keeping stocks in plant at supplier

4.Warehouse management with meeting all safety and statutory requirements and following quality system as per ISO TS 16949

5.Handling packaging and logistics efficiently for inbound and outbound movements.

6.Preparing monthly MIS reports and presenting to management as per organizational goals.

7.Adhering to GST laws and ensuring all transactions and movements as per norms and organisation policy

Mandatory Skills

1.Should be versed with SAP, MP PP modules and having expertise to use these in day-to-day business transactions

2.MRP calculations and dynamic forecasting to handle variations in customer requirements.

3.WMS for ensuring FIFO and optimum use of space.

4.Good team management skills and experience of handling team of 8-10 professional

5.High level of presentation and communication skills and proficient in MS office for preparing monthly reports and sharing with senior leadership.

6.Should have handled plant with revenue of 400-500 Cr and supplier base of 50-60 nos.

7.Should be seasoned leader to ensure inventory counts and reporting on monthly basis with minimum variation and control
