With this acquisition Yara India\'s scale of operation has grown significantly.

Profile

As a Bill Processing and Payments Specialist, you will be a crucial part of our finance team. Your role will primarily involve ensuring accurate bill processing, timely payments, and compliance with financial regulations, Government reporting (FICC) & Gas contract management & compliance. Additionally, you will be responsible for coordinating audits, budget preparation, and risk assessment within your section.

Role and Responsibilities

Bill Processing and Payments

  • Verification of bills for raw materials (Natural Gas and R-LNG).
  • Processing of raw material payments according to agreed terms and conditions, including advances and down payments.
  • Invoice, Debit/Credit note processing w.r.t raw materials.
  • Monitoring & maintaining LC/BG & other guarantees for Raw material Suppliers.
  • Collaborate with the corporate team to secure funding for major payments.
  • Ensure timely booking of expenses and provisions monthly, facilitating the preparation and submission of EIS (Expense Information System) to Management.
  • FICC (Fertiliser Industry Coordination Committee) - Pool portal entry, management & data certification by cost auditors & FICC.
  • FICC data & MIS submission.
  • Preparation of pool data for annual escalation submission to government.
  • Preparation of Bag cost certification working.
  • Maintain strong interpersonal relationships with respective stakeholders.
  • Review accounts for scrap sales and ensure the timely preparation of invoices in accordance with terms and conditions.
Other Responsibilities
  • Facilitate statutory audits, Cost Audits, including internal audits, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
  • Ensure adherence of risk and control matrices for your section.
  • Implement findings from ISO audits.
  • Act as a valuable member of Cross-Functional Teams.
  • Collaborate with IT team for updating or modifying SAP as & when required.
Preferred Skills
  • Strong liaising and negotiation skills for effective communication and relationship building.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel for data analysis.
  • Excellent analytical abilities for data analysis and problem-solving.
  • Knowledge of SAP will be preferred.
  • Should have worked in manufacturing sector. Fertiliser sector experience is a plus.
Education & Experience
  • Education: The candidate must hold a CA Inter/ CMA Inter/ B. Com/ M. Com degree. Candidate should have scored minimum 60% in 10th,12th & in graduation.
  • Experience: The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience in handling general accounting matters, preferably in a manufacturing company. Working experience in fertiliser company will be a plus point.
