Job Description
Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Senior Database Architect to design, develop and maintain our databases. As a Senior Database Architect, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of our database systems. You will work closely with our software development team to ensure that our database systems are scalable, secure, and efficient. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in database architecture and design, as well as experience with various database technologies and tools. Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and maintain database systems for Neotas
- Develop and implement database architectures that are scalable, secure and efficient.
- Ensure data integrity and availability in our databases.
- Collaborate with our software development team to integrate our database systems with our applications.
- Analyze, monitor and optimize database performance.
- Ensure that database systems comply with data privacy and security regulations.
- Develop and maintain database documentation, standards and procedures.
- Participate in database-related projects, providing guidance and support to team members.
- Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least 15 years of experience in database architecture and design.
- Proven experience with database technologies such as MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL.
- Expert knowledge of SQL and database programming languages.
- Experience with database design and modeling tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Experience working with cloud-based database services like Amazon RDS, Azure SQL Database, or Google Cloud SQL is a plus.
